FWIW, I did not have a rushing guide my first time around either. I didn't even participate in the forums until later. I did it so I could get PEKKAs then witches. :p

December marked a turning point in the game's play, but I do not see it as a bad turn. Too many players hid behind their instashield; now there's a much more active game to play and certainly far more loot available. Based on what I SEE when I raid or war, rushing is the norm now. I nearly never come across a maxed base in the <TH11 levels and the ones I see tend to have structures and walls from several TH levels. Some are smart about it, others...not so much so. I think this is part of the reason maxers seem to be so vociferous in their complaints; maxing, without the benefit of an instashield...well, it ain't fun.

I just keep plugging away. I'm actually a very casual player, believe it or not. I play a few hours a day and probably too many hours on the weekends, but spread across so many games.... Tis fun though!

Well...the Clash Maniac account has hit TH8 today. I believe it is day 70 or thereabouts. I took a few weeks in there to play clan wars back to back and kick up some XP; it was a good time, but I finally pulled the trigger on the upgrade.

This will be my final post to the forums in this series. I've grown immensely weary of the lack of manners on these official forums and there's essentially no moderation so it's become a place where lots of people can spit their venom at anyone. Instead, I will continue my posts on my new blog, Noc's Clashing Journal. I'll be moving the content here over to the blog, then adding new blog entries daily or thereabouts on a variety of CoC topics. Stop by for a visit and follow the blog!

I know it seems like complete pandemonium on the forums most of the time, but for the most part the community is great (just give it a month and it'll be good)

I also wanna present to you guys my own little rushing project (my th level end goals can change for my accounts who knows tho :))...I don't have much time farming these accounts but I've taken advantage of the one gem boosts and grabbed a one week shields...

one last bump in TH level and they will finally at their respective TH goals, btw...the only bottleneck that I have is farming all of these accounts...but I'm not in a rush I guess (talk about ironic haha!), one step at a time... :)

I've enjoyed reading this thread noc, main reason it's been different than others is you have not fallen into "us/them, category" (though at times others couldn't resist)sad you are not able to continue the thread here, but will follow your blog.

I've reached the 3rd month of playing my rushed account, see how far he has progressed in that time. Find me a maxer who can progress this fast in the same span of time, because only players who rushed to TH9 earlier can progress faster than me.

Maxers used to argue that rushing is a noob tactic etc, now that their argument has changed to "we can play however we like", I know that they've realised how efficient rushing is
