you would never know how hard is it to build a successful clan from very first level, unless you create your own clan and start recruiting players for your level 1 clan. :cool:
but you simply want to takeover someone's clan just because he is inactive,just because you stayed in for a while? this is unethical and supercell will never allow this.

In case you're somehow still missing the point, IT WAS NOT HIM WHO STARTED NOR BUILT THE CLAN! IT WAS ME! We left for a break! There was NO ONE in the clan except for a drone account, which we expected the guy who made it would check every week or two to see if we wanted to restart the clan. Technically that account was nothing more than a glorified bookmark. It has been inactive from the day we made it leader and left. A DEAD ACCOUNT!!! (My mistake was letting someone else make the drone account to be placed as temporary leader instead of doing it myself. If I did I probably wouldn't have ever known there was the issue of inactive leaders.)
If you're still not getting it, ask someone to explain it to you.
Again, before you respond to anything, READ FIRST! It's not a sign of wisdom to judge a matter before knowing the facts and worse when your attitude simply sux.

If you were taking a break and the clan was empty, why give leadership to another account in the first place? Why didn't you just leave your account in the clan?Quote:

Looking for a fix, I discovered "inactive leaders" has been an issue for years. So I thot I'd try & kill 2 birds with one stone.
Besides, other online games with similar rank structure will demote a leader after a period of inactivity. To me, 30 days seems fair. All a leader has to do is load the game once every 30 days to stay active. (You can do that on the krapper.) After that, even if the guy lost the clan to some random guy who happened to pop in at the right time, it's not Supercell's problem. He needs to take it up with the new guy. And another lesson learned.
Personally, I think it would solve more problems than create.
[Technically, our drone has been inactive since mid March: the day he was made for taking the leader position & left alone to keep the clan from being deleted. A couple of us have been back for over 6 weeks hoping he'd check even once. We're not willing to waste another year starting a new clan from lv1.]
Just an FYI. For the benefit of guys like repus who just assumes we're trying to steal someone else's clan,... WE DON'T CARE if the guy with the drone acct who we gave leader to returns & decides to keep the leader position & run the clan. WE WANT THE CLAN ACTIVE AGAIN!!! But if he doesn't become active, I would like the leader to be passed to someone who would be active. I trust my guys.
I don't see this as being some great issue. If your clans leaders are inactive then find a new clan. Big deal.
I like the idea but explain in detail like if leader is inactive who can become leader, how leader will be chosen will it be on the basis of xp level and th level and donation or on the basis of votes of clan members
Easy enough. Except when you have a group of guys who have been together for a year or more, it's kinda like getting the band back together. You don't want to all get lost in another clan. It's like merging 2 clans. Sometimes it works. Sometimes not.Quote:
