How come TH8 gets to sandbox

I really don't see a need for the 24-hour lock, rather, I don't really care if someone wants to practice on my base before attacking it for real or not. Their time wasted, not mine.

That being said, its easy enough for a th8 to practice attacking on someone in normal matchmaking that it would not make a difference at all if they were allowed to sandbox or not.

Additionally, having th8s allowed to practice means most of you complain and cry, and that makes me happy inside. Mostly because it means you take this far too serious, and that is funny to me.

hmmm...i guess babies gets to play in the sandbox and big boys like TH9s will have to do better in war

Not true at all. It was about integrity of war. If you can't see that then you don't value it and probably just got your account back from a two week break.

I think supercell knows that lower players might not have much power and dont have the resources to copy bases

There is no legitimate argument against a cool down except the desire to have modded wars. Being that you have 6 bases to choose from, if you should have plenty to use and test even if you just updated one.

The th8s in the clans I've been in tend to 3 star each other pretty quickly anyway. Also an active player likely won't spend much time as a th8 before maxing it. I was there about 2-3 months. Th10 now.

Because th8 is the HARDEST th level to three star at. They NEED the sandboxing or it is simply to difficult. I, as an elite three star specialist with 30,000 war stars, can verify that I was only able to three star a th8 like 90% of the time, as opposed to at other town hall levels were I three star 100% of the time.

But seriously, th8 and below is pretty easy to three star, and th8 and below is always three starred in wars anyway so doesn't matter

Because th8 raids are easy

Th8 is too easy for it to matter. As it only has 1 set of DGB, it's fairly simple to either set a GoHo to trip it off or surgically deploy hogs around the spaces.

There just aren't enough walls and defenses to make the DGB location too hard to predict while still maintaining it's effectiveness.

If your th8s actually manage to consistently receive 3 or more attacks, chances are your clan isn't at a high enough (war) level for this to even matter. It'd take too much time for a casual player to spend 30 minutes copying a war base, followed by an hour of practice with different DGB locations.
