Does anyone out there enjoy this part of the game? While I understand that you should put in some work to find a viable base, but nexting 100+ times to find a base is ridiculous. It most likely causes people to abandon the game. Heck look at the bases that arent even boosted while you next... SC must know that some of their changes have put COC on a downward spiral.
What I am proposing I believe the mechanics are already there.
First... loosen up the abandon filtering. People love hitting monster bases... and those guys have quit anyways... This leads to members sharing replays, attempting to find larger bases to hit... and lets face is getting resources is good.
Second... maybe allow users to set their multiplayer desires... Are you trying to farm? Trophy push? War practice? Those seem to be the big 3, so cater the results to the user. You know SC already knows base values, its being used in CW matching. With these 3 criteria, you could filter based on bases that maximize trophys for the trophy pusher. Filter based on resources to be gained for the farmer. Filter on base defensive power for the war practice guy.
Third... filter out the g'damn trash please? You know theyre already filtering out abandoned bases... stop showing me these bases with 40,000/40,000/240 when I'm running an army costing 5x that in elix and 20x that in de. SC can calculate my army costs right when I hit the next button... please do that and show me something at least reasonable to my own army costs.
I'm in no way saying that it should be exact... sure build in some randomness and deviation.... But if you're nexting for 15 minutes... I don't see how that helps players WANT to play the game... And we all know players wanting to play... leads to gem usage leads to money in SC's pocket...
Would love to hear what everyone else thinks.
