its too hard to make them equal. Clans are spread out over the whole world. So you need 24 hour period.
But at en esport event, everyone is right there, at the exact same moment and can attack one after the other. You can't expect that to happen in normal game play.

I think some reasonableness could be applied, for example look at the clan "viet 'R' us" (#9PUJV02J) we are warring against. I'm sure that level 5 th 3 with only a barb for troops is legit, sitting there among all those TH11's on a 20 war win streak. Probably just some new clasher friend getting some help. I wouldn't want to affect that poor noob. ;)
