I play HD for over a month now and I sold my stuff to tom only twice. I wonder how often do you sell to Tom?
2-3 times at most along with Greg. He only comes around when your stuff hasn't sold for about 24 hours. For me that is B&E I used as dummy ads, everything else usually sells within that time frame.
never. tom or greg doesnt buy my stuff even after 24 hours. on the contrary greg bought something i've put up less than an hour on my secondary farm so i dont know if it only happens to certain people or what
Tom buys from me a lot because I sell basic produce at default prices.
he bought my carrots once.
He bought wheat from me twice in a week. And eggs once. Does that mean someone sent him after eggs and wheat??
I wonder that too. I can't imagine someone searching for B&E lol...and then buy at full price. You can just as easily do that from DD. So my guess is like Greg he also comes around and buys stuff that you're unable to sell. Then again, there are some folks who have mentioned Tom buys their stuff within hours of putting it up. So it's hard to say how exactly it works.
Hmm............ I didn't know Tom bought stuff from players. He's never bought from me. Also, I don't think Gregg has purchased anything from me either.
Tom buys from me fairly regularly, usually things like roasted tomatoes for 50 coins. Last night however I was trying to pass some things to a new player for her boat and every time I put a wheat in my last stall a random friend came and bought it, Grrrrr! The last straw (no pun intended) was when I went back to check if my 'customer' had turned up to find that Tom had bought my one wheat for one coin! I gave up.......
Tom has bought from me a few times. But mostly I sell in quantities of 2 or 3.
I sell in small quantities b/c often times:
1 - my barn is close to full and I only need one or two items to fill an order, so I think in the "small quantity" mentality.
2 - I try not to stockpile b/c I tried to keep a little of everything, so I rarely have a lot of anything.
