War matchmaking
We just got owned but a clan that does the .5 strategy. People are upgrading offenses but not defenses. It's really turning me off from the game. I have all level 10 walls and buildings max th9. Heroes are lvl 20, so I have played a lot. People who work hard to build up defenses and max everything aren't being rewarded. They are being penalized because of this .5 town hall strategy. My suggestion is when matchmaking is done, first criteria is townhall for townhall. This will make the people that rush the townhall be in a bad posting rather than the people who work hard to upgrade everything like the game should be played be in the better position. Most of our clan is talking about quitting if this gets worse. One suggested make people have to build all buildings before allowing people in war. I don't think this would solve the problem as people could still rush to high town halls with level one defenses but max troops. Please consider this as I think this is going to be a huge problem and you will be losing a lot more people like you already have. Make the game fair is all I am asking.

There are a lot more rushed players than maxers. Creating some feature to specifically target engineered bases while affecting actual rushed bases would not be a desirable change for much of the player base. Generally the .5 strategy is used in order to not burden your clan while you catch up your offense to your new TH level. You have this option once you upgrade to TH10. I suggest you take advantage of it.

Just because people decide to mini max(or as you call it, have .5s(which suck)) does that mean you should punish them? Really dude? Stop complaining about being killed by .5s when you could easily kill your enemy if you got some mini maxes.

Punish rushers? Yes let's punish rushed and not the ones who work hard to upgrade everything. Letting someone that has th8 defenses with th10 max troops be able to get a perfect war score is rediculous. You guys must be the rushers so of course you wouldn't agree. It's cheap and unbalanced.
