Please Just Give India its Own Global

The original post has nothing to do with race. Bringing it down to that level is juvenile trolling, no more.

I simply asked that the second largest country, by population, on Earth be given its own Global. There may be 30+ languages in India, but many are minority and half the population speaks Hindi.

Some may still use the English Global, (or Norsk - the Norwegians seemed to stop complaining about the invasion of their Global a long time ago when they realised they had access to a lot of high level players) or the Dutch Global, I sometimes go on there because there's a lot of English speakers there, or even the German Global (I go there because I speak German).

They can go wherever they want but their own Global will hugely alleviate the issues that currently exist with the English speaking Global.

What do people have against Hindi ? Hindi is a beautiful language.

It's easy to read and write in Hindi. A five year old can write in Hindi.

For example: नमस्ते.

This much is easy for me too. when it gets regularly lot to be written and read, I cannot do it.. I have had hindi as my language subject for like every year in my 10 + 2 years of schooling.... We here in India using "smartphones" which is important to be part of clash, mostly do not even type in hindi.. There will be a small share of people who cannot type/read in english. (so small because, they will be not educated, education in india is in english predominately unless it's a poor family who can afford only local language, in that case they wont have smartphone) There is not a single campaign in mobile industry who even say that there is hindi typing in the system.

Now that is a small percentage and not huge....

So the point is you cannot give global for small set of people...

There will be many many languages which will then should have global...

I believe Scottish is different then the english spoken in england. Infact Scottish needs global then.

What I do not understand is, why cannot people ignore.

If you think english has too many countries then ask for country wise chat system... or just stop going to global!

Just because you both do not talk ill, does not mean others don't.

I means dogs keep barking but why allow hatred to spread.

Why are you trying your darndest to take this personally? Why do you insist on using words like 'hatred' to try and imply racism where none exists?

If you are Indian why wouldn't you want your own Global?

Every other major region/language has their own. China has two official languages, Mandarina and Cantonese and a myriad minor languages spoken there but they seem happy to have their own Global. Why wouldn't you be?

If your English is good then you can still head to the English speaking Global, you have the best of both worlds.

Like many today you seek to take offence and are quick to play the race card. Well buddy, you're barking up the wrong tree here.

Great idea. If you are on an english chat. It means you should speak English. It's rude to speak a different language that others can't understand. Plus there's always alot of insults between Indians and non indians, it makes it difficult to recruit or have a decent conversation about war strategies etc. It just makes sense that if you are speaking a language that is not english you should not be on an English chat

That would be great if we have a choice between indian global and normal global.
Everytime when we wanna talk on global there would be 2 options as mentioned above.Like when we will click on global under global there will these 2 options.
That would help a lot to us Indians as it would increase the interaction between Indians and supercell will get more players for their game.

I fully agree with the OP. Those who think this is not a good idea are obviously not looking into it enough.

First let me say, I have Indians in my clan, and I do not have a problem with Indians at all. So do not assume this post is racist.

Now, there are obvious language barriers between Indians and those who speak English as a first language. Many Indians who join my clan struggle to comprehend a lot of the English spoken by the other clan members. No, this is not EVERY Indian, but it is a large number. Don't get me started on those who join and say 'plz donaet' and cannot speak English whatsoever. More on language barriers; when an indian member says 'give troops now' it sounds pretty darn rude. However, I understand that whilst sounding rude may not be the intention, it is still one of the many issues between many Indians and fluent English speakers.

Yes, a lot of my own clan issues would be solved if we simply recruited less Indians... But that is a tall task when much of the global is filled with Indian players. There are also many clans saying 'Only Indian Members!' or 'No Indians!'. Giving a separate global chat for Indian members would outright solve these issues.

Secondly, an issue is racism. Now, I am Australian, and many Australians are racist. I can accept that, and I disagree with it. So it is only fair when I address clear racism also coming from Indians as well. I have seen countless times where Indians have been slandering American, Australian and most of all British members on global. It is even worse when they join your clan and fill your chat with racist remarks. And even still, if the vile comments themselves are not racist, the motivation for writing them was. Whilst this does not happen on EVERY global, it is still an issue that needs to be addressed. Another thing is how the censors do not work for many Hindi and Tamil swear words. Which means Indians can freely swear on global with little to no repercussions, especially when they are directed at a native English speaker. Once again, adding a new global exclusive for Indian members would remove these issues of race from both parties.

I might add that a lot of racism has come from the fact that most of the English Global is made up of Indians. Simply, there are always going to be those people who are talking rubbish or swearing or generally being annoying. Unfortunately, because most of the global is Indian, most of those who are talking rubbish, swearing and being annoying ARE the Indians. Yes, I know that if Indians were not on the global these issues would still be present, but at least much of the racist stereotyping against Indians would be non-existent. (eg: All Indians are 80 year old pedos looking for girlfriends on COC)

Now, time to point out obvious flaws with the useless arguments presented against this idea.
One was that not all Indians speak the same language, so an Indian global would not make a difference / be a pointless addition. Well let me say this: it would be a hell of a lot better than them being on global speaking 20+ different languages to the ONLY place that fluent English speakers can visit to seek out new members or simple conversation. Whilst it may not immediately solve the language barriers between Indians who speak different languages, but it solves many issues between Indians and fluent English speakers. It also makes things easier for Indians who would rather speak their native language than English. Really it is kind of useless NOT to make a new global.

As for those who said 'what will stop them from staying on the English global anyway?', well to that my answer is 'Nothing'. But in saying that, it would still empty much of the English global from Indian members, and thus that it still a massive improvement. So basically, your comment implies that every different global chat is useless, because there is nothing stopping me from entering a French global, or a Dutch global. Well nothing is stopping me, but I'd rather be in the global where my own people are. Most of the Indians would make that same decision. If you disagree, well... you are entitled your opinion... My opinion is that you are not a logical thinker.

Another useless comment was that it is 'Global' chat so we should learn to be multicultural. Not sure how this makes sense... So that means all other global chats like the Russian and the German are useless and we should all be in one huge global where nobody can speak the same language? Ok...
Even if the Indians do get their own chat, it is still global. Americans, Canadians, Australians, British - they are all still making the Global Chat 'global'.

Simplest solution would be to have an English Global (for NATIVE English speakers, or FLUENT English speakers) and then a separate Indian Global (where all the Indians can go and just do their own thing). If you like talking with the Indians, join their Global. Not hard to do.

Honestly right now this issue needs to be addressed more than anything else. I can't imagine it's incredibly hard to do. Farming was axed to make the game more enjoyable for everyone, why cant a new global be opened for the same reason?

I do genuinely believe that there should be seperate globals! If people had a choice of where they could recruit, it would be much easier. I would like to say that it could just be a an age issue?!? But I fear I would be branded ageist!

I have no issues with any nationality, we all have pros and cons and we are all playing the same game. But when I log on to english global....I kind of expect to see english being used, this is not the case

I recruit from global, and have met some great players. But as someone else pointed out a polite no thank you can result in a tirade of abuse.

Being female i also fall foul of insults. Most pretty disgusting if I am honest. Yes I could change my name (its a regular name, not easy girl or suchlike) to Steve or Frank, but why should I? We are in 2016.

Perhaps the supercell staff / moderators should pop into English global and see what happens and judge for themselves.
