Critique my TH8 base?

Hey I'm new to the forums but came here to seek advice and guidance but ultimately a critique on my base. I intend on maxing pretty much everything in my base before I go to town hall 9 and I know I'm a fair bit away.

I have already maxed out the most important things like the Wizard Towers and the Mortars but still have a long way to go in terms of Teslas and even walls for that matter.

The main advice I am seeking is based around the design of my base. I have been at 2100 trophies with this base but recently fell back down. I've always overlooked farming in general but with everything I've seen and read it may be best to go down that route. Is it worth dropping down a few hundred trophies and farming for some time or continue?

What are the things I should be prioitising at this point in time?

i think u should upgrade ur cannons and telsa....walls i think u should wait after upgrading ur defenses as it is more important...not sure if this will help cause i am only th7

Bumping this because this is the best place to get some form of review.

Very nice base, I would reccomend to get a lot of the long defense upgrades out of the way first such as Teslas and Airdefense. I would leave cannons and archer towers last since they are cheap and do not take that long to upgrade.

I like it. Only suggestion I have would be swapping the DE storage with your clan castle, it would seem better protected there.

In my personal opinion, I prefer to have my strong walls on the inside of the base--or at least not the very outside. The way I look at it is that, if using wallbreakers, the easiest thing to destroy is on the outside mainly because it's the closest and defenses don't have enough time to target them. By having your strong walls on the inside, it will take even more time for troops other than WBs to break through them giving more time for your defenses to shoot down the opponent's troops.

So, you could put your purple walls on the inside corners/connecting walls instead of the outside which just has to be broken once.

Put your TH outside. You'll lose less trophies from a one star and a twelve hour sheild than a two or three star. Very exposed storages.Sorry.

The only negative point about my base is that the storages are exposed? You can see on the image I have a few gems to spend; what would you suggest I spend them on?
