Throw fruit at me if you want but just read it again slowly, and even paused for commas, and I still like it. Call it what you like, legalised modding, disgusting, death of wars, cheating.....either way it means I can bully the little guys in my clan or demote them for refusing to fight me.

I mean a lot of mistakes in war are caused by bad timing of potions, mortars-wallbreakers, a wrong channeling of troops, etc. These are small things that can cost a lot in war. In this way you can try, try, try till you can deal with them.

Obviously, you aren't.
But it doesn't make much sense worrying about it:

The idea in general had been suggested many times now, it is the first thing mentioned in a sticky post about accepted & rules out ideas. Don't you think Supercell had thought about the feature?
If it is abused a lot, they might add a cooldown.
Additionally, you'd need to have same CC-Troops, same traps, etc.

What i do see with the new attack is how attacks will get more advanced.
Using popular internet bases will make defending a lot harder. Players will learn how farming strategies work, how to funnel troops etc.

Been a fair play advocate for years and I am not worried about it so.... not the whole community.

If a clan wants to spend time copying bases so another member can practice a war attack I guess we will learn how to deal with it.. There may be a limit to the number of times you can issue a challenge within a certain time period so it might not be unlimited amount of tries. Plus you will see people using decoy bases throughout the war prep stage so any practice then is a waste of time.

^^ This. I'd LOVE this feature to be implemented, if it wasn't able to be so easily abused. Add something to this extent, and I'll love the update. Honestly war is the only place where this can really be abused, and adding something like this is a good way to close the loopholes.

This could have worked by visiting the war log, and would really help the TH10s and TH11s experiment with difficult attacks and kept much needed innovation going now that modders were gone. Instead SC have done this and I just cant get my head around why. I have a few ideas that will probably be derided as waaaacist but suffice to say: this a repulsive act of submission by SC. Cowardly and perverse. If this goes ahead, the game will be less than nothing.

Very well written. perfectly described the situation.
We have 2 players who can 3* max th11 in a fresh attack. yes in a fresh attack!
Now they dont have such a glory!

I am very worried about this update... As a frequent warrer, I am concerned of exploits. Members outside of war may switch bases up to an opponents base, and others can practice it to get a three-star.

I'm not too sure about how the system will work, perhaps it will be unavailable to use during a war. If so, then I can be breathe a sigh of relief as well as be happy about the upcoming update.

If not, however, I think the next month of wars is going to be hell..
