What is fairplay if not playing the game using the tools available in game using an equal playing field. I don't see how this contradicts fair play in any way. What this offends is the church of Jake and its luddite zealots

I have a question, when you make a friendly challenge are you going to be able to attack or go offline while the challenge is still unaccepted or while you are being attacked? Are you going to be able to accept others challenges while your challenge is still out?
agree. and how the restrictions will work in international clans? we cannot have all people on line at the same time. people need to sleep, to work, study, etc. so when the cooldown timer stars fo someone it will not be the same for others, people from another side of the globe will have 5h or so of the window to use it while the other members are sleeping , so who they challenge?
There are many other 'churches' that are singing a similar tune, regardless of envious persuasion.
The majority of players don't have the time or the inclination to reproduce bases and sandbox for a few hours.
The problem is the possibility that any clan, on any war search, may face an opposing clan who has players that are prepared to put in the time to do this.
This will just demotivate many players from wanting to war anymore.
But, why is this any different from possibly facing modders? Because modding was cheating. Sandboxing is being endorsed by SC, and that will open up the practice to the masses who have time to do it, not just the Elite.
Well, whenever you add or new to the game is welcome. I sometimes wonder what level of evolution would this game if the developers did not have to spend time and resources to fight the users of mods..oh well, I will continue to enjoy the game as 2.5 years now using the new function to improve the design of my base and, who knows, maybe I'll find a way to better defend against attacks on the forum instead of coming to denounce this op is, what is unfair etc ... from my point of view, if you wanted $ €, would be enough to enable the friendly clashes ONLY on the bases in a player's layout that offers the challenge for at least 24 hours, problem solved. I apologize for my English, so many beautiful things to everyone. clash on!
I disagree with that completely. I don't see how this is considered cheating. How is this different from someone practicing hockey as much as they want to improve their skills or someone practicing Starcraft by playing as many games as they want to get better? Cheating would be a mod allowing you to have a 500 army or giving ur barbarian king invincibility.
There are a lot of critical negative comments but come on guys, aren't there friends, family and clan mates you've been DYING to destroy in clash? haven't you ever typed that you wished to come across your friends' base by chance when pressing the 'attack' button? it will be FUN. Try and look at the bright side. Surely there are more players out there that play for fun than those that cheat.
Also, I don't think there's anything wrong with learning how to use troops effectively in a fun, more controlled environment, and without having to chew through your dark elixir etc Its a training tool for those that just want to have fun as well as those that take it seriously.
If SC keep modding (balancing the troops, adding new troops etc) then it will keep us on our toes too.
I vote yes and say thanks and HUZZAH! sincerely, someone who plays fun and entertainment.
I don't think it really matters what updates come along. We learn to adjust and change strategies or learn new tactics. I don't think people who are in wars should be able to use it throughout prep day and battle day but it is a new fun feature. It does help people learn how to better attack a base and which troops would be better to use. Half of the players in clash use bases that are posted or built on youtube and just copy them. You see a few of those same bases at least once per war and anyone who has seen those bases already know where the traps are going to be, its just a matter of how well you attack that base. There will always be negative feedback no matter how fun supercell tries to make the game. Stop complaining and adjust to it. Btw, thank you supercell for the boost special!
I came up with another solution, which I think will prevent abuse of the new friendly challenge feature.
Supercell can add some sort of detection/comparitive code to the game. If a base you create after prep day starts, is similar to that of any enemy cw base, friendly battle won't work for that particular base. Lots of similaries in a new base with that of ANY cw enemy base, like 3-4 similar compartments with barely any difference, will lead to friendly battle being blocked for THAT particular base.
Please tell me what you guys think abt my idea.
