I understand that there may be some problems with this idea. but how awesome would it be to be able to attack the people in global that ♥♥♥♥ you off or just to troll lol. it would possibly reduce the amount of people in global as it would make them a target. but say you wanted to test the defensive prowess if your new base you could go on global and make yourself a target to be attacked.
No... There will be numerous problem
1.shield abuse, just chat in global saying you need a shield and you put th outside, this mean you can abuse shields
2. DE abuse.... Every lwer level TH will go and attack ppl just to get their DE by lightning spell them...
3. Trade is ruled out, you can easily trade by keeping your storage outside and telling someone to attack them which can lead to in-game resource selled with real koney which already ruled out...

however, I see your points and so will supercell and because of the possibilities you listed this idea has like a .0000001 chance of happening.

I think everyone forgot a tiny important fact.
You can't get attacked when you are online.
I suppose you could say something and get off and get attacked.
Now how would you do this... YOU CAN'T ATTACK SOMEBODY WHILE THEY ARE ONLINE :P
lol ok forgot that one but if you did get off after saying something on global which does happen it could happen but yea. sorry this idea pretty much wont happen. I just wish there was a way to attack the annoying people in global sorry my idea sucked though.
I hate some people on global too...
1. Yea... That's the point.... When ppl see a th outside a fully defenced village they will attck it... And considering that there are many middle level th in global chat the chances are higher than 90% that ppl will just come.... Lightning your de.... Break your TH... Leave your defences.....Quote:

I had a similar idea, but rather then being able to attack someone fro global chat, my idea was to be able to attack someone that you can find in anyway, including your clan mates.
But it would be a duel challenge, meaning you cannot just attack. You can instead invite the other person to a duel and the battle would happen only if the other person would accept the challenge. I created a thread titles "duels" explaining also the rules how you can engage in a duel, e.g. no shield is gained or lost because of a duel, or no trophies exchange, etc.
I think it would open a completely new dimension to the game and make it much more interesting.
Edit: I am pasting the text I had in the other thread...
- When you challenge someone into a duel, it means you can attack that player directly (not through search).
- You can challenge any play, including your clan’s members.
- The other player has to accept the challenge.
- You can choose what you play for, it can be for trophies, resources, both, or nothing.
- If you choose to play for resources, the attacker will loose the resources he will not be able to raid. E.g. if 100k are available for loot, and attacker loots only 70k, then he will return 30k so it means he will get only 40k. If they the attacker loots only 40k, he will have to actually return 20k.
- No shield is given for duels.
If SC thinks that exchanges trophies and resources this way may open the door for rigging the game, then they can also just not open it to any trophy or resources, i.e. duels will have no impact on those. This idea came up when one of my clan member was showing off how good his base was when I was sure I could at least 2 star him.
What do you think?
Maybe you should be able to attack people that have been reported 7 times, and when they get banned you can raid em lol
