I know I have seen numerous posts about a trophy incentive...sad to say after this last update and no trophy incentive I was disappointed..I was sure it would be in this one....we desperately need some reward or incentive for players to want to keep their trophies!! I would have thought or I think it is more important then heroes....is there a reason this isn't even an option or being addressed?

It seems like your problem is that you are experiencing a shortage of elixir in the end game. It doesn't seem like you need an incentive to want trophies. Perhaps reducing elixir costs for high level troops again like they've done in the past would be a simple solution.Quote:

Totally agrea.. No reason to hunt for trophies anymore, and i really had hoped aswell thar they would have given this much higher priority..

Havent really envisioned anything as of yet Media, will have to put some thought into an idea, will get back to you on that lol, just know I have seen alot of suggestions most of which all have been shot down! It would have to be something game wide, not just for high, middle or low players, but for ALL! Something giving people an option to keep the trophies, not forcing them too! At the same time still, allowing them to farm if they choose...it would be an option incentive, one that should be huge enough to be more of a benefit then dropping and farming...
Is this the reason nothing has been done about it because there has been no feasible incentive or idea?
I feel the priorty should be on this now, I know the company needs to make money and thats all fine, I am not criticizing the heros or updates....but I feel when you do an update, it needs to be geared across the board not just to one group of clients.....Lets focus on this trophy issue, it will benefit everyone playing not just an elite group!
The incentive should not be resources. It should be something like a flag or a statue. Most people do not even care that much about resources, they care about what they can get with those resources. So in my opinion something like a decoration would work better. One that would appear automatically at certain trophy levels.
Example:
0-1000 -> TH starts too look more like a fortress (heavy bars before the door etc.)
1000-1500 -> Troops are larger or wear something like a bandana
1500-2000 -> Statue on top of your TH
etc...
Just spitballing here, probably some guys out there with a lot better ideas for decorations.
A nice idea would be if the hero units would look different according to trophy level. Imagine a massive golden crown or a throne to sit on...
Im not so sure a decoration would tear people away from farming...I know it wouldn't do it for me. The goal would be to not eliminate farming, still give anyone that option if they choose, but to create something that will have players torn ...do I farm or keep my trophies...the incentive will need to outweigh farming and I don't see a decoration doing that...

Therefore my proposition of rewards such as resources or build times.
And the tournement seemed appealing at first with those 1000 gems. While I think it was a legitimate dream for a lot of players earlier on, we realized the tournement is laughed at by lots and the 1000 gems are not covering for the price needed to actually have a shot at it.
So incentive that was earlier in the game reasonable is now obsolete.
There is a problem here that i can see.. For the majority the only reason to go for trophies would be with increased loot or bigger,better things or even reduced build costs...
However.. if we (the majority) get these things then so do the High End Gemmers..as default.
This will have one of two implicaitons...
1) The Gemmers will continue to GEM therefore the GAP will increase not Decrease
2) The Gemmers will slow their spend on gems...
Maybe there are others however i think these are the obvious ones..
So take Option1.. The majority will think "well yes i get things things but still cant compete with the GEM spenders".. Surely this is the same as now but with a few changes to the game to keep us interested.
Option2 - Supercell will not desire.. so it wont happen
nothing against from this thread but i'm envisioning that if this comes true... people will again say it is not fair... - separates high level players from low level players... lol
No matter what tho in this game high level players will always be separated from low end players...there is no comparison...this depends on the start time of the player...everyone is starting at different times...some gem some dont...the advancement in the game varies so drastically players are all over the spectrum so high and lows will always exist with a big gap...I dont think the incentive needs to even close that gap that wont be its purpose...its purpose will be to keep players holding on to their trophies and make them say should I farm or keep them..right now there is no option...the answer is to not keep them because the greater beneift comes from losing them...there is nothing on the trophy side at this point...
