Am I ready for TH8?

Hey guys, I'm curious if you think I'm ready to upgrade to TH8. I currently have:
Cannons: maxed
Archer Towers: all upgrading to lvl 7
Wizard Towers: maxed
Mortars: maxed
Air Defense: lvl 2
Teslas: lvl 1
Lab: maxed, still have more things to upgrade
Spell Factory: maxed
Gold Storages: 1 maxed, 1 lvl 10
Elixir Storages: lvl 10
Barracks: lvls 9, 8, 7, 7
Dark Barracks: lvl 1
Dark Elixir Storage: lvl 2
Bk: lvl 1
Army Camps: lvl 5
Mines: most 8, couple 9
Collectors: lvl 8
Walls: about 70% lvl 6, rest 5

My plan is to upgrade the archer towers again after they finish, then finish gold/elixir storages, then finish barracks.

no I don't think you are because you can still upgrade lots but I would make sure you get all level 7 walls atleast

ehm, max out your Teslas, they seem weak but are beast once they're Level 4 or higher.

Max everything at town hall 7 except for the barb king and dark troop upgrades(only exception is gold mines and elixir pumps, which aren't a huge deal). The reason I say this is that the gold and elixir loot is significantly better at town hall 7 than higher level town halls. However, it's easier to get dark elixir at higher level town halls, so upgrading your barb king and dark troops are not a big deal at town hall 7.

Teslas are just so expensive and slow. I guess it would work out to keep farming and upgrading the last few things. I can always spend the extra elixir on dragons to help destroy people.

Up those archer towers to 10! Also, get your air defense and teslas higher!

Sorry but no, your not ready at all. Try to max out everything or be nearly close. Trust me on this, i was a premature th8. I have been on it a month and just now am a max th7 pretty much.

Definitely not ready, if you check out my base, all I need are two barracks,two AD to level 5 and walls to level 7, and I'm still not upgrading. I am going to do teslas to level 3 while I upgrade town hall, as they take 6 days each.

I did a guide to intimidation that's linked in my signature(I'd give you a more tailored answer, but I'm feeling a little tired, sorry:(), but frankly if you were TH 8 I could take you down at TH6, and that loot penalty will make you look like a mighty purty target.

If you're trying to upgrade for the drill, raiding is far easier. Use eight drags, ten minions, eight barbs, and twelve archers. Get rid of the buffer zone with the ground troops and rush the drags with minions(sometimes under rage) towards the air defense in your way of the DE. With a little luck, you could get over 4k DE a raid ;).

Upgrades get boring after awhile and you find yourself not having the will to continue, but the more you put off for higher town halls, the more behind you find yourself, and the harder it becomes to take and keep resources. You'll find yourself at th9 with th7 defenses and possibly th8 troops; unable to keep resources.

Teslas are annoying. Barracks' are annoying. Walls are annoying. Having to wait when you feel you can move on, or if there's something you want from the next level, is annoying.

I promise you though that you'll regret wasting this opportunity.

You don't know how many people press next on your base, you don't want to make it any more attractive for higher or lower town halls to attack you.
