What is engineered base and why they are complain about it ?

If you want to war with other engineering clans, that's great and exactly what I proposed. The reality is, you would much rather match non-engineering clans, and your "fun" comes at the expense of other clans that aren't engineering, and that's the problem

Im not going argue or apologise for the fact that I try to maximise the fun that I get from gaming. Everyone has the same opportunity. If they choose to play differently then thats not up to me. If SC decide to change the game in a way that reduces my fun then I too will change again in order to re-maximise the fun once more. No biggy.

What is a problem is those that advocate that I should play their way or else its somehow unfair or cheating.
They have failed to evolve along with the game. Again this is not my problem.

So, for any clan running th9 and below wars, victory or defeat rest cleanly on your shoulders unless you're matched to a clan with th10+ defenses, or a great deal many more high lvl th9s. To those with th10+, I cannot comment.

I wanna end by saying that both sides of this argument have validity.
People that max all/most of their base usually want to face very similar clans in war, and don't like the fact that engineered clans have more strong high-end attacks.
People that engineer bases for war are usually really into war, and have invested alot of time(or money) into giving their clan those extra high-end attacks. They don't wanna be put out into the cold after all their hard work. Who would?

welcome to the conversation. I have no problem answering this and have in other threads. Its like this, I don't care what you do in your own bedroom, just don't lobby government to force me to do what you do in your bedroom in mine.

Even though I have been building different bases for a lot longer than engineering was popular and getting called things like "rusher" from intolerant people I have just shrugged them off because, well, I have been having fun and winning wars despite their claims.

But now they want to petition the authorities for changes that benefit them at my expense? THAT is why the hate from my side...

I lit a candle last night and prayed there would be no more "Engineer threads...". Such despair. I laugh, because otherwise I'd cry.

Late to the party , didn't expect to have so many replies , seem like engineered base is really a hot topic currently . Thanks for all the replies , now I fully understand what's engineered base is :)

Fully agreed! People spend no time at all telling me that I'm an idiot for rushing, making the game harder for myself and that I'm useless in wars. What people don't realise is that my base is engineered at various points of time to give myself an edge in wars when I do join them.

Now when they realised that they're wrong, they're crying and whining for a change. Not because its unfair, but because they want the system to work for them, at my own expense. What fuels my hate? Its easy, all the hate I remembered receiving from the maxers who want the system to work for them now

Its not necessarily a defenseless, but a base built for war, with weak defense yet strong offense. Somehow, TH x.5 isn't part of this because it can be done by maxers. But those with rushed defenses, strong offense are all basically cheating

Well sinofdusk, when a th8-7 war clan gets matched up with 2 max th11's 3 engineered th11's and 5 th2's, is there anyway to win if they are active?
So in all honesty it is not the people who use the system to their advantage that hurt people, it is the people who use it to have an automatic win
