New Dark Spell: Directional Spell?
Just posted this in the General Forum; what do you guys think? How many times do we try a queen walk, and skeletons pop up, teslas spring, clan castle draws troops left and you wanted them to go right? Or when you are about to take out a critical defensive building, but your troops get side tracked and walk around it?
I have an idea for this; maybe its poor but it's a thought. How about having a "Directional Dark Spell" that forces troops to go a certain direction? Basically you can use the spell to path a queen walk, or direct a full kill squad to go towards the center; just to give the attacker a little bit more control over the raid.
My idea is that you can 'Swipe' your finger over the troops in the direction you want them to go; they will follow your finger, forget about the closest building, and retarget what's closest in the direction of the swipe...
Not sure of the logistics behind this, but it is idea to prevent immediate attack fails because of unforeseen traps and pathing issues.
Maybe even on a LaLoon attack, you get to the core with balloons, they are about to take out an inferno but then they move towards a tesla that was sprung; you obviously want to attack the inferno, so drop a directional spell to adjust troop paths to take out inferno first.
Since modding has taken a hit, Queen walks are failing left and right due to inadequate pathing; sometimes preventable but sometimes not. Other strategies have also taken a hit because FP predictability is minimal sometimes.
What do you guys think?
