I am already beginning to rethink this. I am beginning to think that either archers or barbarians would be suitable donations. My reasoning goes like this:

Once you get archer towers and air defense you become essentially invulnerable to balloon attacks. Sure, a mass balloon attack by a high leveled player will work (done it myself to people on odd occasions), but so far balloon attacks seem fairly rare, probably because of the time and expense in building balloons plus the fact that many players rapidly achieve air defense as well as archer towers.

In addition I have noticed that archers tend to get wiped out very quickly because they tend to bunch up when coming out of a clan castle on attack.

I think it's a good idea also as members get stronger they can help the weaker ones with a giant or two as well as wall busters. Just a thought.

Of course barbs should be allowed. They are the sun in the Clash Of Clans galaxy. Everything revolves around them. I actually think any troops should be allowed in this clan. I'm grateful for any troops. As should everyone in the clan.

Here is an update to the voting on the question of allowing barbarians as donations in addition to archers. Some members have cast their vote on the clan chat when I asked them.

For the purpose of this vote, members who have joined us after the vote began are welcome to add their vote on this forum or in clan chat when I am online. Please do not pm your vote to me, all our votes on any matter must be public. The vote will continue for another six days or until all current members have reached a unanimous decision.

Please advise me either by pm, on this forum, or in clan chat if I have somehow missed your vote or if I have by some stupendous stroke of stupidity got it wrong. I may ask you to post your vote again in the public domain if I have got it wrong.

My reasoning for public voting is this: While voting on matters like the nature of troop donations may seem trivial at this time, I want to establish a solid and transparent democratic tradition in our clan. By transparent I mean that any decision, any vote is out there for us all to see, and so avoid any allegations or possibility of vote rigging. There may come a time when we need to vote on more important matters, and then we will have established good system for making such decisions.

We thank Hannah for her recent undercover recruitment mission. It was a dangerous mission, although facing possibly imprisonment, torture and execution, Hannah successfully managed to infiltrate the Subway Surfers clan and rescue three excellent players from the barren hellhole their clan had become. I am sure the wounds will heal soon, Hannah.
