I like this idea. Its far better than the other ideas that are detrimental to other people. Everyone gains, nobody looses.

Haha minigames! I saw a post yesterday about in-game flight simulators 'all i see are clouds'. What about an ACTUAL flight simulator!

Let's say raids at legends happened as rapid fire as they do in gold/crystal/masters. What would happen with the top players? Bases will never be rapid fire at legends league until SC can guarantee those with money can't buy the most number of raids and thus top spot. That's the real problem to resolve, not just the clouds but maintaining the raid balance. Every legends player is in the same boat and seeing clouds, the higher your position the more you see.

The main purpose behind my idea is that after waiting for a certain time period (I chose 1 hour), you find SOMETHING to attack. Maybe a cloned base. Maybe a lower league person. The point being that if you pretrain your army, at some point during your cloud surf your army will be done. It's that point when you should get to attack. When the attack is over your next army is already reading and waiting. Pretrain the next one and go back to the clouds. This will decrease the rate of the "rapid fire" bases, so it takes the gem portion out. Everyone cloud surfs equally. Everyone has the same waiting period in the clouds. There's no need to gem your army once you get your "1 hour waiting time attack" has passed.

I also like the idea that 2 people searching at the same time find each other and attack each other simultaneously. And keep the cups as normal.
Let's say the offer on each other is +30/-24

If player A gets 1 star, and player B gets a 2 star:
Player A is +10 & -20 for a net of -10. Player B is +20 & -10 for a net of +10.

If both players get the same stars, it's a net 0.

If one player wins and another fails, it's a double whammy (let's say a 1 star and a fail. That's +10 & +24 for +34 for the winner, -10 and -24 for -34 for the loser).

Shields are treated as normal. In the event of a tie, both players shields are adjusted according to the current system.
If there's a winner and loser, the winner shield is adjusted as normal, the loser get a new shield depending on the outcome of their defense.

Another idea (and I'm expecting hate for saying this) is to bring back the 1 cup raids. But let me continue...Right now when attacking lower trophy players, the minimum offer is +6/-35. For EVERYONE. But that limit is based on your current number of cups.

Change the trophy offer instead of being based on number of cups but global position. But also with the smaller available cups from winning, increase the distance down the matchmaking will search.

At the time I'm writing this, I'm 5139 cups. Rank 4751 global.

The top 500 ranked players limit is +1/-45, regardless of the number of cups they have.
Players ranked 501-1000 limit is +2/-42, regardless of the number of cups they have.
Players ranked 1001-2000 limit is +3/-40, regardless of the number of cups they have.
Players ranked 2001-3000 limit is +4/-38, regardless of the number of cups they have.
Players ranked 3001-5000 limit is +5/-37, regardless of the number of cups they have.
Players ranked 5001+ remain the +6/-35.

And add to that cups are rounded. If you are in top 500 and get a 1 star, that's 0.33333 cups. Rounds down to zero. Yes, you could win a raid and gain 0 cups. The top 500 would have to 2 star minimum to keep climbing, but it's only for the top 500 players. It slows down the rate of cup growth of the people at the top, making it harder to maintain, giving people below the chance to get there.

These are broad stroke ideas that resolve the real problem of preventing the game from becoming pay to win while trying to reduce clouds at legends. That's the real issue that needs to be discussed.

interesting suggestions here, would be good if you can post it in the suggestions and ideas section despite SC dev won't look at it lol

One of the main reasons for clan wars is so the game doesn't have a end point. Trophie pushing was never intended to give maxxers a never ending objective. Thats clan wars. You guys saying with out pushing life is over, lol. Lots of people even with maxxed bases could care less about pushing. I'm a near max th 11. When I'm 100% maxxed I'll will just war with my friends and play on my other lower th accounts.. I mean pushing takes time, an insane crazy amount of time to reach the top. That's the point. You do realize if it wasn't for the clouds everyone could get to legends right? It's not elite skills to 1 or 2 star a base. Anyone with a max base has been playing for years. A max base is a max base. What league they are in doesn't mean anything. Just talk to trophie pushers it's not about winning the attack it's just getting an attack cause they pretty much always get a star. Same about defense. You don't even have to go very high to star loosing every defense. Sure some attacks suck. Some are 1 stars, ect. But your still loosing pretty much every defense.

So which will end this game, because SC is not your private jet, you know!

Those lot's of people (maxed people) go for rushing. That is why they wait for 2 to 7 hours in clouds. there won't be so much of clouding if there are less people searching. Because someone or the other will loose shield + PBT.

Wars is casual part of the game (SC business point of view) - also I will not play it much, slowly interest will go away.

There will be odd people who would want to chat in global and care nothing else... does not talk for majority of us. You should not post in this thread because we are dead seriously looking to support each other and not take off topic.... We are talking about clouding and not what you think!

P.S. I totally mean you are odd because you do not want to go on to be the worlds best clasher and have your name there for 1 season... You should do a poll(ask people who have maxed or nearing max).. if you think I'm wrong... hahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahaha. epic phail

I think the post was saying they were seeing the "can't find a base to attack" message after 30 minutes over and over again, so like the rest of us, waiting an hour or more for a base. And you know that base is going to offer just 6 cups total for 3 stars.
