Self imposed ban for addicts

For those addicted to this game and can't help themselves add a feature or request to be banned for 2 weeks but stay in good standing with SC.

What do you think?

banning self doesn't make sense. when you enjoy what you do, why do you need a ban?

I suggest you practice some self control OP.

When I click on attack, I often see village after village with the same or similar layout and level of progress. While finding none that are a reasonable match for myself. These "players" allow the bot to design their village for them, and the bots will level their buildings in a particular order. I could list a whole string of ideas about how they could stop bots, reduce bots, detect bots...
But if I list it here, then the bot users will find this post and improve their bot design. They are 1 step ahead of the games GMs.

This is because there are forums and websites on the internet, where you can download these third party software applications and the game's GMs do not visit them, they do not seek legal action against them (under copyright laws), they do not download the bot and use it to find out how to detect it...

As a games developer myself, I would offer to come to work for supercell to rid the game of bots - but they don't pay any real attention to forum posts anyway XD

Dude you missed my point completely. I am not talking about bots, mods or cheats at all. I am not judging anyone.

I am talking about an option for people that can't control their urge to play.

They could prep their base opt out of war or leave their clan. Click the self ban/break. And go out and enjoy life. It could perhaps save a job or maybe a relationship.

To some people that's easier said than done.

how about a kid gets ♥♥♥♥♥♥ with his bro, and at the slightest opportunity banns him for some weeks? if the bann can be interrupted then it loses ogni value, if it cannot be interrupted then it really hurts.

SC wants you to be addicted. Will not make business sense to introduce self ban option :P

The best idea is to LEAVE clan on which you are and play game for some days without clan you will definitely get bored and play the game once in 2 day i have experience that.
