garden decos

Natural decos are my favourite option in Hay Day, and I'm looking out my window at flowers budding in the back yard and wishing some of them could be added to my farm/town. Might it be possible to add more seasonal greenery like:

bleeding hearts
echinacea
dahlias
clematis
bell flowers
wisteria
gladioli
hostas
holly
sunflowers


They'd work nicely with some rustic additions too, like:

a tree swing
a hammock
a tree house
a little red wagon
an overgrown garden shed
fairy globes
strings of garden lights
a willow-branch or wicker seat
a little bridge or stepping stones to cross the ditch
an old-fashioned water pump


Anyone else have deco ideas for us?

You have some great ideas. The old fashioned water pump, is that similar to the Japanese fountain? Because that looks like a water pump, too.

I really like the tree swing, hammock, and tree house ideas! I know I've asked for similar in children's playground playthings like a swingset, slide, etc.

Those are alot of flowers you listed. What about some of them in decorated flower pots, instead of in flower beds? I would go for that. I just don't care too much for the ones in the flower beds. I would like those to be more flushed to the house or wall without leaving too big a space between it.

Your very good with names of flowers, by the way. Not good with gardening myself, nor am I a farmer. Nor am I very good with types of animals. So when someone calls me "stupid," because I don't know about cows and cattle, I would take offense to it. I was always told that cattle was just a synonym for cows. I'm not a real farmer or a real Gardner and I am not a veterinarian.

What kind of job are you looking for Midori?

Other than the theme park (what did you do there?) what other jobs have you had that you enjoyed? Something creative?

I'm really in favor of traditional farm decorative features. I have high hopes that we will get something along the lines of the tire swing/hammock attached to a lovely, shady tree. I love the idea of a treehouse. I also love the idea of a garden shed.

In the flower category, I wold love to see a trellis with wisteria. Holly bushes with berries would be fabulous in the winter. Even if they were just offered as winter decor with a bit of snow, that would be fine. Sunflowers as deco or as a harvestable plant would be very welcome. I think bleeding hearts could work very well; I think their growth pattern would be something different than what we have.

I would go for any farm-centric decor. Here are some of my favorites to add to the list:
- a wooden ladder to stand in the orchard so it looks like we are picking fruit. It could have a bushel basket at the foot
- a faucet+hose+twirling sprinkler. I'd love to move it around my pasture and meadow.
- wheelbarrow
- old plow

Aaah, that is quite different than the Japanese fountain deco we got not too long ago. What u pictured makes me think of the water pump shown in a Helen Keller movie.

Your ideas of a ladder and a bushel basket at the foot and wheelbarrow sounds really good!

You are really good with your farm knowledge! Do u live on a farm?

Given all the very personal stuff you post on the forum & questions you ask others, I'm very surprised you feel that way, but I apologise for asking about something you talk about often.

Mini Dibs - I'd appoint you the top job in the Deco Development Team all day long!! Lots of fabulous rustic designs. It's a shame Barbie would have to shop elsewhere - but I'm sure she'll cope!
