Clan war hoppers. Need penalty!

Coc should enact a penalty for players who leave during war.

Leaders work hard to level up their clans and increase the over all good of the game.

CW Hoppers erode the value of the clan and the game.

I will leave the type of penalty up to coc , they have the ability to enact an appropriate disincentive.(what is in place is not working)

Your comments would be appreciated.

I disagree. There are lots of reasons a player would want to leave a team. I don't think they should be punished because they find the situation in your clan undesirable. If you're having a problem where new players are leaving in the middle of war, don't put new players into war. Make them wait and prove their worth and their loyalty before you add them to the line up. That leaves only worthy and loyal players in your wars, and if they leave - well, go back to my first statements.

They are welcome to leave any other time than war.! Should they be rewarded for leaving during war!

How would SC protect against clans who open their clan to all then suddenly add people to war when they didn't want/intend to be? or some other undesirable situation? the only way to do it is to be sure about who you put in war.

They can always use red/green war button on profile

If you see leaving your clan as a reward then you have bigger problems that need to be addressed. You can't kidnap people and force them to spend time with you. If someone wants to leave, you have no right to force them to stay. Period.

If you put randoms into war then it is on you, as the leader, when they leave during war.

People who leave during war already find it harder to get into good clans as a lot (generally the ones who won't put new people into war) will not accept anyone with a cooldown.

Your reply about members using the opt in/out button in response to the valid concern re clans that opt you in regardless of your status shows you need to work on your comprehension skills.

Maybe your members leave as they cannot cope with the effort needed to communicate with you.

Don't put them in war if you don't trust them. Like us, we only put 1-2 new member in war at a time. In this case, we can manage attacks if they leave. It is their freedom to stay or leave plus they get a cooldown which prevent them to join in another war.
