Trophies are stupid, they just are, they serve no purpose to use other than that one achievement. And to be matched up with other people via trophies is ridiculous. I'm level 26 with 1261 trophies and everytime i get into a match the either
A. have 3 mortars and 2 wizard towers
B. Have an X-Bow
C. All of the above
Trophies are gay. The benefit no one, matchmaking should be determined by levels and townhalls, NOT trophies.
I agree to a certain extent. Trophies are a good way of ranking players but personally I don't like it. You almost have to drop trophies to get good farming. I would watch the oversimplified and dismissive arguments because that's not going to really convince anyone

I think that SC should make trophies more important than they are today. You should be rewarded if you are a skilled player/clan.
If you just want to upgrade stuff, play Farmville instead.

If you aren't planning on dishing out cash, then play for resources and use your trophies to adjust what calibre of opponents you can find. If they all have too high of defenses, lose a few hundred and try again. Use it to your advantage rather than complain about it.

I think this trophy system works great.
Trophies are used to determine how strength you are.
If you always lose on matches, this exactly means that you have way too many trophies than how strong you are. So, dropping your trophies is a good choice.

If you dont like something say it with more respect! Nobody cares about your little rant on trophies its never going to be changed. The matchmaking will always be trophy wise not by level. Hey guys, I think the trophy matchmaking is good for now, but if supercell change the trophies to something else I wouldn't bother me either 😃
If you want to offer an idea on how a new matchmaking system would work, please make a constructive thread in the ideas sub-forum. If you want to call trophies "stupid" and "gay", don't make a thread.
