So it's a widely held belief that the bowler is a failure.
Unlike Valkyries (the previously least used troop) at least Valkyries had a hardcore support base who knew they were good and could prove it.
Bowlers have no such fans as far as I can see, either in game, on youtube, or in the forums.
So we could buff Bowlers in some way.
Improving Health, Damage, Range, Speed etc
Changing game mechanics (two bounces maybe? boulders trigger traps?)
Or we could consign them to the waste bin of history, admit that they aren't any good and players don't like them and give us something new.
Take the next troop (lets say the Laser Frog) and just make that the troop you get at LVL7 Dark barracks instead. Let us keep any upgrades we have made to the Bowler as upgrades down for the Laser Frog (L2 Bowlers are L2 Laser frogs)
They could spend forever trying to rework Bowlers, or they could try again.
Perhaps trying again is a better idea...
