Pack an extra wb or ten and when a unit gets stuck on a wall (like archers trying to breach five different wallpieces), breach ANY wall with the wb(s) as that makes units snap out of their coma and rethink their path.

You can quit a battle without losing trophies, even after it's started. After the 30 seconds run out just don't deploy any troops and tap "end battle".
It's good in case you're still working out how to attack and then decide against it.
Once you deploy a troop, then you can't leave the battle without losing or winning anything, whether the troop was deployed before or after the 30 seconds is up. Once the 30 seconds are up, however, if you have not deployed anything and want to skip that base, you may click "end battle" and leave the raid without losing any trophies or troops.
This is what i feel abut most troops i will rate each troop for what i think up to 10 remember im a farmer so they trophy hunting troops may be slightly low in rating.
Barbarian-the first troop, this unit is pretty useful as meat shields for wizards and archers and also one of the primary units of BAM! but not as good by itself besides when you just start...(i got up to 700 trophies barbing when i started) 7.5
Archer-one of the most used troops out of the barracks they are useful with barbs and minions to create BAM! But also good with giant archer combo sometimes including healers...they for a while is also good used by its own. 10
goblins- a very important troop for farming...this troop is well used because of its fondness for resources and is used in most farming armies...at sub 200 you can use all gobs as an army comp....8.0
Giants-the primary meat shield. He is used in many armies because gobs,barbs and archers will not last as long without them....he diverts attention from other troops....my rating is 9.5
Wbs- a well used troop this troop is essential for most armies...they are not the main troop in the army but rather like a backup...they will help you reach the core of bases... 7.0
baloons- these troops. Are what i call fun troops they are very fun to use...they will help in the beggining when you just unlock and when you unlock level 6...in between they are very fun...im doing a couple mass balooning for fun..... 6.0
wizards-these troops do high damage....the only reason it isn't used is its training time which is very high.... They are used for trophy hunting.

healer- this troop is used primarily for giant healer combo as far as i know.....they are useful for that but not much else in my opinion. 4
dragon-who doesnt want an adorable little flame breathing draggy? They are a fun troop and are also used for trophy hunting...they are really fun to watch when yu watch them pour flames over a base.... 10 ( because they are way to fun for me really they should be 7)

no im not doing the dark barracks cause im not that experienced with those troops.
