My point was, no spam attacks get the job done
except TH7 mass drags and Valks spam. The first because it's so unbalanced towards offense (3 ADs didnt change much) the second because of the HUGE buff that one troop got.

Name another spam attack that actually works without skills? Most of them are just easy 2 stars

Even Gowiwi when lv3 witches came out was not so OP as it was said to be. It was only OP because everybody ran those resource rings open bases. A compartmentalized base could defend most witches spam

Let's be clear (sound like Bernie here, lol) ...

No suggestion of nerfing here any troop, in fact would like to see the strong troops remain (and more added). Just looking to cap max number of any one type in camps (any troop) - let's be honest, no war should or could be won by single troop type.

SC needs a design path that opens up their future development options -- gotta give something to get something.

SC - give me a call, I always have time for a Finland trip (on your dime of course, lol)

Compartmentalised bases also defend mass valk. Its a simple thing you cant understand. Most mass valk you refer to are govawi.

This will never happen it will take away way to much from the game.

OK - to summarize - seems like the majority are agreeing with me - mass spam doesn't work, successful hybrid army comps do ...

So this cap suggestion wouldn't hurt any successful player as they already do it.

And spam attacks do happen at every level - just less in war when goal is 3 stars not just a won or 2 stars.

And the pivoting to base design (compartmentalizations) is ok topic but not mine. I get base design -- I want to promote a path for SC troop design and implementation.

You need to buff your base design skill. Copying open square box type bases are gonna work against gowipe, but not mass valk.

Seems like our thoughts are the same but we get to different conclusions.
In my opinion, if mass brainless attacks are not effective, just let them be. Let newbies use them (and lose). While "pros" use hybrids and win

Let's just let people choose what they wish to battle with. Everyone has the same options. When the dust settles, the better attacker wins.

If you choose a hybrid attack brainlessly on a base fit for mass valk, you won't even get a 2 star.

So in summary what you are trying to do is tell people how to use their troops? If someone wants to come in and mass spam let it happen. If your base isn't designed well enough to defend this then it's your own issue. Imo people should be allowed to make any troop comp they want whether it be 20+ valks or 240 archers
