Limiting how many troop spaces you can commit to any one troop type.
How about 120 max? Would be:
4 golems, hounds or pekkas
6 dragons
8 healers
10 witches
15 valks or those blue guys
24 loons, hogs or giants
30 wiz
etc
Would force hybrid attacks.
What do you think?
Why so much hate against spam attacks XD
Full archers/full goblins is good for farming
Mass drags is good at TH7, 8 and sometimes 9. And 10 for safe 2 stars
Penta lavaloon is a legit 3star attack
I never really used other "spam" attacks. Hmm maybe 5 golems Gowi :')

How about we just go back to the days when people could play however they wanted...
It seems like all balancing issues go back to this issue -- single overpowered troop that becomes effective at decimating a village ... Then the nerf that makes it unusable at one, two, many levels.
Come on, no hate here, just looking to get out of the box so SC can keep introducing new, strong troops without this constant cycle of buff /nerf and feeling cheated after committing resources /time to upgrade.
And at 120, still plenty of barb /arch /gob farming raids -- and maybe only dragon attacks reduced.
Would embrace this change fully -- as mid level TH11 that has worked my way up through all the TH levels and attack types.

The only overpowered troop right now are Valks. I don't know why they buffed them so much but it is what it is.
Not all spam attacks are overpowered, they're simply more brainless.
Drags are only OP at TH7... TH8 you already need some funnelling skills. TH9 you need that and an awful base design.
TH10 mass golem is brainless 2 star, again I would not call it OP
Come on, lol, every TH level would benefit from the encouragement to learn basic attack strategy, patching, funneling, tactics, timing.
Start right at TH7, keep adding moving up -- pretty easy when it's done bit by bit by bit.
This is a much more balanced suggestion to address balancing across the board.
Let the idea grow on you -- after watching scores of war attacks for the past few years it's impressive how every TH level has players that can use a streamlined army comp of complimentary troops to get the job done.
no troop is overpowered, so none is needed to nerf them.
all you need is skill and base reading capability as offense. as for defense, you need to make a good base layout, not necessarilly need all max def, but a good one
yes i've used every single troop composition, and yes i'm using max valks now (even tried bowler in every single troop composition that i can think of). but no, i can not bring down every single base that i found

They aren't overpowered people's base designs suck. That being said this game has always been with a majority troop build stop whether it be loons, valks, witches, drags, even Barch can be considered a spam. If they take that ability away the game will lose all structure and majority of players. You try building an army with 6 of each troop and tell me how it works out.Quote:
