That would be really nice, then I would get more trees and bushes and be able to use Tom for other stuff. Unfortunately, I don't think they ever will.
Since this is essentially a game of resource management, this is part of that design. Farmers need to manage how many trees/bushes they put on their farm and how often they harvest them compared to how many saws and axes they have and continue to get from farming (drops). And since Midori brought up Tom, he would be more than happy to bring you saws and/or axes if you ask him. :)
There is also the trading thread...I bet you could find people there who are willing to trade their excess saws and axes for something you are willing and able to provide.
What a load of rubbish. Why should be be limited to how we manage out trees and brushes to how many axes and saws that are dropped? And Tom is too expensive to use for us normal people. You Designers don't live in the really world of gamers.
You are making the games less and less enjoyable for people who can afford to pay for Diamonds.
You aren't limited to how many trees and bushes you can plant compared to how many saws and axes may drop. But if you don't like seeing dead items around your farm, then you need to manage resources...simple as that.Quote:

Tom really isn't that expensive, even for "normal people" (assuming you mean those who don't buy diamonds), considering what he is able to do for you. I used to keep Tom on constant hire, now I take breaks in between hiring him, and I have never purchased any diamonds. I use diamonds that I have found and/or earned in the game, and many others do the same.

There is a Lumberjack service - Greg offers it as a sideline. The only trouble is that he is very expensive; it's much cheaper to hire Tom and have him fetch axes and saws.Quote:
