It obviously doesn't work in Dutch. (Might not work in other languages)... All Dutch profane words won't be **** out, all perfect Dutch words with profane words in some language will be **** out....
I'm way above 18, so please let me choose to not use something which doesn't even work!!!!!
Yep, second vote from me. The profanity filter is annoying, and I am rarely profane and can cope just fine with others expressing themselves that way, should they be inarticulate enough to need to resort to that.
Bumper.... all people complaining about profanity filter but no-one answering here?
I said the same in my post, we should have the chance to deactivate that option... I'm 44 yrs old, and I'm the one that is in charge of censor what my kids are in the net, and for sure I don't need/want people younger than me acting like "parents".
One more thing, if someone is being inappropiate in the game chat we can report him/her, or that button is as useless as the list of words censored?
btw, the list of words I posted are still censored.
If you're boss of the neighbourhood then you can kick that person yourself... I don't know if reporting someone helps.

This makes a lot of sense. You could have a button in Settings that says "I'm 21 or over, don't filter chat." On the plus side, at least we can ask for pickaxes now without being censored. :rolleyes:
Vfrood, I think it's a fantastic idea which was implemented in Clash of Clans last year. I jumped at the chance to turn off the asinine filter which was totally unnecessary and hindered many conversations. When new clanmates join us, I asked them to read the clan rules posted on a website. Rule #1 warns everyone there's zero tolerance for bad behavior so DO NOT curse or use profanities. IIRC, less than 5 clanmates broke that rule so far.Quote:
