Well, I am working on my heros and the last dark troops and spells for TH10, so I do DE farming all the time for the next few months.
I am TH10 and have maxed all defenses and Lego + >100 lava walls.
If I want to try out TH10.5 after maxing heros how should I proceed.
I understand that I should upgrade all troops (currently only minions, bowlers and witches)
What defenses should I upgrade and buy?
What defenses should I not upgrade or buy?
Is it a good choice?
i finished my th10 including walls and heroes and the lab...
i upgraded my th to 11 and i dropped just the warden xbow.archer tower and the cannon..,,my warden is 11 atm and my weight when i was maxed th 10 was 17800 per storage and now it is 18200 only...so i think u can drop all new stuff except the eagle and ull be good...i do get matched with th 11s almost all the wars...but my weight per storage is 18200 when the th11 with eagle and all is 21.000 aprx or lil more..
edit: i just didnt buy the new wizard tower and the eagle artillery
As you're upgrading your warden you could work on upgrading the new xbow, AT, cannon and WT. Once your warden is up over 10 though, it's probably a good idea to drop the eagle in there. .5 isn't a good idea long-term and will put you at a war disadvantage more often than not.
This is my kind of thread. I'm in the same boat and 8 days away from TH11. Is there a big difference in weight and strength between the infernos?
get the eagle artillery ASAP. it's pretty much THE only reason to go to th11.
without the EA, you're pretty much just a th10. Means even th10s can grab 2/3* pretty consistently. with the EA, even th11s will struggle taking 2/3* unless they have their full arsenal at their disposal (all 3 heroes etc).
If you have an eagle then most likely you will have to attack someone with an eagle in war.Quote:

i totally recommend it, dont upgrade infernos, dont buy new defenses, get the warden. And youre set.
going slightly off topic, but in my experience matchmaking has been pretty solid since the update. it makes no real difference whether you build whatever/whenever, you might find an advantage up top in your war match, but you'll also find a disadvantage down the bottom of your war match.
Go 11 and only drop ea and warden. I skipped most of th10 and am doing great. Wardens 16 and heroes 40 now. No sense dumping elixir into walls when it is so hard to come by. Glad i put all of mine to good use.
I'm 10.5 haven't bought a single new defense or upgraded any to th11 standards. It seem to really help with matchmaking. I pull a legit th11 most of the time and a th10 as the number 2. I am my clan number 1 and only th11. From what my friends who are also th11 say they pull anywhere from 1-3 th11's per war being a legit th11. I can cope with pulling 2 per war but in my clan we couldn't handle 3 as our th10's probably wouldn't do well against a legit th11. Until the matchmaking is fine tuned further I'll remain a th10.5. Btw I have all the th11 troops levels and warden is at 12. My bowler is only level 2, but that doesn't count. (Gutterball)

I have no problem defending, I have not had a shield for more than 20 days, nobody really wants to attack me even when they can take 3K dark and more than 400K gold and elexir.

IMO you would be much better off dumping that elixer into the GW than walls. I upgraded to TH11 as soon as I ran out of building upgrades that I could put exlixer into and haven't regretted it for a minute. My GW has pretty much been down since I started TH11, and he will go down for level 19 upgrade tonight. 2 more weeks to max GW!Quote:
