My TH7 base

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum BUT NOT to the game (Although some of you might think level 38 is still a new guy ^^)
Anyways, I have no Idea why I keep losing, can you tell me where's the problem? Is it the structure? Upgrade walls/defences?
Keep in mind my townhall finished upgrading like 6(or 7) days ago, so I still don't have enough time to upgrade new stuff.
Also, keep in mind I'm not willing to buy gems using $$, I intend to save them from achievements and removing trees,rocks,whatever.
Oh and yeah, If the structure is weak, can you gimme some advices? Picture
P.S.: Oh yeah, I started a new clan for 1000+ trophies plus, we are currently 3 members, but we are willing to donate as much as we can! (We are almost active the whole day, if your request didn't fill up in 1 hour *keep in mind we are 3 members* I'll give you elder!) Join Armageddon (:

Not a bad layout but I suggest farming.

As for gems. Make sure the gems you save go straight to buying builders.

Hah! I can't wait to get to reach 500 gems ^^

You almost ALWAYS loose at TH7 because you don't have enough defences... But start farming, at TH 7 you get more loot than at any other town hall!

Mhmmm, farming you say... farming it is.

I wont change the structure of my base, and I still want to be 1000+ trophies.
So I'll just adjust it a bit, to put all the storage in the middle, and find a way to still protect the TH, but not in a very strong way.

Anyways, thanks for answering, but I still hope for a solution that is better than farming (Since farming wont change the defenses, therefor i'll still lose, and lose and lose)

P.S.: From the time I posted this topic (probably 2 hours) I've been raided like 5 times, lost exactly 500k gold, 295k E, and 47 DE..
Returned only 400k gold, 0k E, and 0kDE.

I really need to solve this problem, after my builders are done whatever they're doing, I'll start upgrading my defenses.. ):

Whata re you losing to exactly?

I can see your base is a strong candidate for Healer+ giant combo.

Your Air Defenses are at the edge, so as soon as they go down you will get pounded by them.

I would suggest to either

1. Change the layout
2. Put your TH outside away from everything else for a free shield
3. Spend your gold ASAP (which you should be doing anyway!!)
4. Spend $10 and buy gems to get your 3rd and 4th builders. They make a HUGE, HUUUUUGE difference.

Take care of your mortar, protect it well, then you shall gain more winning defense.

Protect it with wizard tower, or other building, never put it off guard like you did with your mortar outside your wall or at the first wall section.

Air defense -> upgrade it.... and protect it like you protect mortar and do it as fast as you can. Leave other upgrade later, including barrack, army camp, town hall, etc... Focus on mortar and air defense first, then wizard, then continue with other upgrade as you like.

That two kind of defense building, will help you a lot.

Meh, I know, my air defenses are at the edges, you have any idea with what should I switch them? Or the only way is to change the whole layout?

However, I still didn't build the 2 tesla's, barbking, and some other stuff, should I start working on this base? Or you think the current one is stronger?

EDIT:
Just think of the positions, of the defenses, I don't want people commenting oh it's stronger because there's level 4(or5) mortar, level 3 WIZT, and bleh.

And about the position of the mortar, where do you think it should be placed?
Same thing applies for the air defenses

That base design is cool, but put the th futher out no need to waste the buger king getting hit everytime ur th gets hit and use the teslas - which are precious at th7 to guard your resources.
