Which is the best. I'm a pretty new th9 and I've been able to 3 star above my 8.5 weight with GoVaHo pretty consistently. I was wondering, is GoLaLoon as good, worse or better overall. I know that each attack is base dependent but which is the most reliable/powerful strategy, and what works on the most bases? Thanks
Both are great on the right base and can often totally wreck a base with plenty of time and troops to spare.
Both can fail miserably if you screw up the early portion of the attack.
GoLaLoon is more base dependent than GoVaHo, that is GoVaHo can be used on a wider variety of bases.

I think on bases weak to VaLo, its more powerful, though many bases can be hit by a good HoVa just the same. But I find on a base weak to VaLo that it can be very forgiving because the loons hold up better without attention than hogs.
So if your doing a backend or surgical deployment and the option of loons is on the table, I think its more powerful.
BUT unlike HoVa you can't use VaLo on just any base. It has to fit specific features and have weaknesses to exploit.
So many people favor HoVa because as long as you know where the Giant Bomb locations are (for follow-up attacks) you can often 3 star. So it seems less risky because you don't have to cator it as much to the base
But I feel in the 3 star arsenal its just as important to have in your repertoire.
I think you are all leaving out the most impressive attack for new players that does not require many upgrades..... Queen POP. It is not so much base depended and it has been an over powering attack. It is by far a better choice than GoLaLoon, although I am enjoying GoVaHo lately.
