Depends which hero? And what level? 30 queen sure! But if it's like 10 king then nah.

You those raids where people swag like 1 spell and have a decent amount of troops left over? Doesn't happen that often, but you have to be that spot on.
So if only the AQ can be used it's possible but if only the King can be used then it's a no-no?
Not saying it cannot be done, its just that a BK can't shoot over walls and can't hit targets far away. The BK will get stuck behind walls while a few defenses burn him.Quote:

I've actually had a few experiences like this in my TH9 stages. Losing a hero is definitely harder to raid, and it's better to not have a king than not have a queen. But with most attacks, after luring out the CC, it's possible, with valkyries, lavaloonian, or a mass hog attack, in which the heroes are mostly just for cleanup or extra damage.
But it's definitely possible, just opt out of wars if both your heroes are upgrading.
With queen down and if you know it's a lava, just use a valk heavy goho and you'll never pop the thing.
