Don't upgrade to TH9 just for x-bow.But if all your defs are maxed and you just have your walls to upgrade, go on and start your upgrade.You'll have that time to improve your walls and get your ressource maxed so you can upgrade your lab and consrtuct your first xbow.The intimidation factor vary based on your trophies. At 1300, xbows are frightning except for greedy TH9 hiding there.Good luck
