War spies dont help out a lot. All they do is make the enemy paranoia and cause them to worry about avoiding some seeking air mine or something.

Dragons aren't playing the game, humans are, there are humans in a real war, there are spies in a real war. Humans act as said spies.
yes its unsportsmanlike, but that happens in games, people are going to go out of their way to help themselves, if you're that concerned about spies, close up entry to your alliance during war times.
its really not a problem.
It is up to the clan to fix it. You can recruit people yourself from global or on the forums. You don't need to open up your clan for people to join. And you will always have that little bit of extra time between each war when you are searching etc. my clan has never really had a problem with spies (after the first time) because we learnt our lesson and dealt with it ourselves.
All is is fair in love and war.
Ok, how?
I had a recruitment thread going on the forums without getting a single recruit. If I go to global people just talk arabic or burmese, and if there is that one rare guy that speaks english and I do recruit them, they are horrible without exception. So, no, I can't recruit from the forum and neither can I recruit from the global.
That little bit of extra time? You mean 2-5 minutes per 48 hours?..
Ok you dealth with it. How?
This is a game. Not a love and neither is it a war.1
And even if there would be things I could really do (which there aren't any), why should I be the one that needs to put in extra effort and why is it made so easy for those who don't care about sportsmanship?
