Real time 18:00 (sorry no avatars yet :-) ) sent boat off. Must wait 4 hours for boat to come back and dock. I have to go to bed at 22:00, so all is looking good to load the boat and send it off again. But, at 22:15 real time it says that the boat will arrive in 1 hr and 4 minutes. So 23:19? that means that it's 1 hr and 19 min late? Why?
I have also noticed that it can delay sometimes, strange.
Maybe the boat got delayed at the shipping yard. Customs is very strict now.
Hmm, you're not the only one to have posted about strange goings on time wise, there was a recent post with a title something like 'twilight zone' where someone reported planting crops and coming back much later to find that they hadn't grown. I also remember someone reporting ( this was months ago) that when they left Hay Day and went to play 'Candy Crush' time stood still on Hay Day. (Personally I thought playing Candy Crush could make anyone feel that all life had stopped, but refrained from saying .... )
i think the crop thing has happened to me a few times, but I just haven't paid enough attention to be sure. If you close the app down it will delay your boat's arrival, but that doesn't sound like your problem. See if anyone else can shed some light on it.
I've noticed delays in growing crops and on my production machines. You leave the Hay Day app and when you come back, no time has changed on everything. It's very annoy, and SC hasn't addressed this problem. I've wrote them and never got a reply.
So you just have to go with it and let it be. Keep checking hay day to make sure the time is changing.
Clash of Clans, their other game, also faces this time lag. It would come as no surprise to me if HayDay encounters the same problem. The issue has been extremely well documented on the other side of the forum. Hopefully they will fix it, but time will tell (even if time is running a tad late ).
A couple of times I have had the most peculiar experience - I have checked that my machines are running and something, maybe juice will be ready just in time before the boat leaves. Then I come back to load the boat and notice that my juice will miss the boat by one or two minutes.
First time I was sure it was my mistake but as this happened another time and I had checked the times really really carefully I think there might be different time systems in HayDay. Seems weird though. Or maybe it just is my mistake after all. :-)
