Change nickname

Hi, it would be nice to change your nickname at least once every year

Not going to happen.

Why would that be a problem? The players really should have the ability to change it once a year, maybe with an in-app-purchase after the first free name change. So many players are stuck with a bad name for ever. They could make a new account, but then all the work and all the memories would be throwed away, so they have no other choice and quit CoC. Supercell can't just ignore that because of "Account Security Reasons", every player has an ID and if you can change it only once a year for money, that wouldn't be any problem.

I've brought something similar up in the past, about using a few gems to get the name changed after using the free chance, but still not happening.

They should allow it, a final name change at townhall 9 or so, with the cost of 10 or 50 gems or something.

so if anyone wishes to do so, they can go ahead after they used up their free turn!

Right now you say final name change, but every time they add one more people will beg for yet another. These players will never be satisfied.

I agree to this one. Supercell supposed to be listen to the player. Its not that a big favor to them to atleast give a 1 time name change even we pay for a gems as an exchange

Then better once a year. Then nobody would beg for another name change, if he would get another if he waits one year, many players would even pay money for that (in app purchase for example).

Interesting point indeed and sounds very practical.

Don't you changing name even once causes so much confusion in clans? One name change is enough so people stop making threads about name change.
