Hey just wondering if anyone else is finding it extremely difficult to obtain a high amount of dark elixir? And does anyone have any tips on how to collect it quicker?
Only thing to faser up the proces, UPGRADE your drills =)
But it cost 2 mil elixir and 2 days?! I have not got the elixir nor the patience!
20 dark elixir per hour (level 1)
10,000 dark elixir needed for barbarian king (level 1)
500 hours of production
20.8 days of production
4 days since release
In case you can't tell what this is all getting towards: Dark Elixir is going to be in *exceedingly* high demand for the next 30 or so days. Only then will it's supply barely start catching up with the demand for it. Even then it will still remain a premium currency - but for now, there just isn't much floating around.
Every now and then if I'm lucky i might find someone to attack with 70-100 dark elixir if I'm lucky but usually 6-20 when i find it.

But there is a ridiculously small amount of it around.. I mean surely the devs could make it faster than a month (without buying gems) to obtain the main purpose of their update - the heroes.. By the time I get these "heroes" the next update will be out and have some other ridiculously priced updates that no one can afford apart from those who buy gems.. Just saying?
Also a question for the devs / mods.. What is the approximate ratio that you will lose dark elixir at in a raid? Say you have 200 dark elixir what percentage approximately will you lose?
I personally like that it is rare. It is going to cause people to attack just for it, which is awesome.Quote:

That's exactly what the devs aim for - make players buy gems so they can make more money. Greedy? Perhaps, but thats how the world works.Quote:

Oh yes had the dark elixir drill for a few days now and I have almost 1500 de.. Mostly from raids though...
