~ New Trophy ranges for loot after the NEW update ~

So after the NEW update there has been many complaining about the Loot. I've noticed some great new loot but day after day the loot drops again. I've switched from 1750-1850 to 1600-1700 and 1400-1500. Now I'm at 1630-1680 with the loot being around 60-90k each resource (about 0-40 Dark Elixir)

I'm curious in wich Trophy range you guys raid for usual good loot (100k+)??

Also,

What did you notice? Did the loot drop day after day? Did you try several new Trophy ranges to regain the usual good loot?

I find that the largest factor in determining if I can find loot is the time of day as well as the trophy count.

Not updates, not balance changes, or even my army composition.

There is one, short term, effect that you might be experiencing: That is the effect of the update being released on player counts. With the new update, players who have fallen inactive will start playing once again to see what the new content is like. This is a two fold effect - there are less inactive bases to raid and more active players raiding resulting in higher competition. There is one final effect caused by the update as well. That is the fact that people need resources for specific upgrades, specifically they need lots of elixir for dark elixir storages and drill upgrades and constructions. This puts a higher premium on elixir, resulting in more raiding once again.

th8, 1400ish trophies; 70K gold + 70K elix; if lucky find 150K gold& elixir.
noted several th7 upgrading though... so maybe those th9s get better loot in days to come

My farming trophy range today was 1200-1300 TH8
goal: 1300-1500, in my current range, I can get 100k-200k within 20 clicks

Im frustrated with the Loot on offer... immediately after the update it was fantastic, however over the last two days there seems to be very little loot on offer.

Im not sure why this is.. IM TH9 and within the 1200-1400 range at the moment.. the loot i do find is often another high level farmer.. so he knows how to protect his resources.

Im not complaining but interested to see if others (TH9) people are having sucess or experiencing the same as i am.

Loot has increased for me but not dramatically. The average of loot is slightly lower than before, but there are more towns with exceptional high loot. I takes some skipping through times but now I will almost always fond a 80k of both loot town.

I'm th 9 and yes, finding it hard to find resources. So far tried in 1300-1400 and down to 1000. So far never found more than 100k to loot. It is harder to loot as well, requiring more troops to do the job. Rubes

First of all, thank you guys for replying/voting! I'm surprised that many people voted that the loot became even worser than it was before the NEW update!

Does anyone know howmany % the loot raised/dropped?

My current statics:

Loot before update:

40-75k (not always being 40k-75k EACH resouce)

Loot RIGHT after the update (1-3 days)

110-140k (most of the time, both resources, NOT including Dark Elixir ofcourse)
Percentage raise of minimum: 46,67%

Current Loot:

60-90k (most of the time each resource)
Percentage drop of minimum: 18,19%

max loot has been boosted est by 11%
availability of loot has decreased due to the availability of bases that do not update are not there because you can't raid them anymore.

So your loot is around 100K on range of 1.000 Trophies WITH TH9?

Best looting trophy range is 2000+ guys, heaps of bases with +180k/+180k if you can get pass both xbow lvl3. :o

As was predicted the loot shortage is easing.

Dark elixir is getting there as well, I've looted over 1,000 today.

Good trophy range

The first day I raided after the update i got 200k gold and 200k elixir. After the days passed the resourses decreased to like 60k each and lower. But I learned if you go below 200 trophies, there are a lot of resources there. I have seen up to 200k gold and 200k elixir. Its a really good spot for level 9 town halls A lot of people are hiding in that trophy range because it is so hard to get down there and stay down there. I went to sleep at 200 trophies and woke up and won over 25 battles and won over 500 trophies. But there is a lot of good resources down there and you can revenge the guys who send one troop at you.

When I updated clash of clans, WOW the loot was SO sweet!!! Then after the maintenence break all the loot turned TO ABSOLUTE ****..... You were adding in more to the maint break then they told us ya greedy liars

Hhhmmmm... reaching less than 200 Trophies is a hard road to walk! Anyway, I'm getting up to 1650-1750 again.. loot on 1600-1680 is around 50-70k lolz :(

OK, I am lvl 77, TH9, was at 1600-1700 cup, raiding happily. The update ended this. where I could get 250+ each time, I then had to skip maybe 30-40 villages to find 150+. Not great at 750g per skip.

As a test,
I dropped cups to 200, pretty much nothing along the way, a random 90k every now and then. I then hit 190 cups, and all I saw were high level farmers. Bases from lvl 60 through 150, all kitted out with farming builds and lots of resources. Not much point being there, when easier to attack the same bases at 2000 cups withoutt he farming set ups!

On the way down, I felt like a great white shark among minnows, until I hit the shark feeding frenzy. Made a bit of resource, matched what it cost to head down, and am now working my way back up to where I started. Interesting experience, but not worth it for me at all.

Also, at that low level, there is no DE to be found.

THANK you very this well detailed story! I've read raiding below 200 Trophies is the 7th heaven for some.. I don't believe that really, I thought it was impossible to reach?
