Hey guys. As i have been climbing higher and higher, it has been harder for me as a town hall level six to win battles. I love trophy hunting. Is there any advice on what i should do for attacking, my army is full power and i have a great clan. any advice would be appreciated in terms of raising my trophy level
Well, we'd need a bit more information. What army composition do you use? Have you maxed out the troop upgrades and army camps for TH6? And, post a picture of your base.
But honestly, TH6 is very limited for cup hunting. The only cuphunting you should be doing before TH7/8 is the achievement for 1200 cups to free up the 450 gems IMO. That being said, it's still a fun challenge. I'll wait for your reply.
i have maxed everything out. i mainly use archers and try to pick on exposed town halls and get lots of loot cause of my bonus. i will send a pic of my base asap

Nice base. However like I said; with 180 troops and lvl 3 units there's no solid way to attack a half decent base in that trophy range. But since you're already upgrading to TH7 the good times will come soon. I like the way you think. Once you hit TH7, you could continue that strategy, provided that you keep your storages more or less empty as to discourage attackers.
I have to ask though. Are there enough deserted bases that are easy enough to attack? I mean, there are plenty of inactive bases but only 25% are so easy that you can manage with low level troops.
Oh: and for TH7 make sure you really max out everything, including walls and barracks.
If you want to trophy hunt, by raiding, I don't see the point in worring about defenses. What do those high level defenses do for you when attacking? Nothing.
If you want to be able to attack and win against higher level bases you need bigger camps, and higher level troops - which means upgrading your TH... IMO unless you have tons of gems, upgrade your th early, and accept that you might lose a little more on defense. Ultimately, even if you are th9 with everything maxed, a th10 can 3 star you.
Thanks for the advice. It definetly has become harder to find easy bases. about 1 in 25 bases i have the ability to attack, and rarely any deserted, but still lots of loot and league bonus pays for troops and searching.:)Quote:

Just snipe outside town halls if your trophy hunting!
I doubt many people attack you because you have łess loot for them due to the loot penalty, so you shouldn't be worried about getting smashed, however since th6 bases are rare in crystal people might attack you for some easy trophies
