I Wonder what is smartest ro start upgrade, Xbow lvl2, mortar lvl7 or Wizard tower lvl7?
Max xbows first, then wizards, then mortars.
Wizard Towers first, then mortars, then x-bows.
i did motars first, then wizard towers, and starting xbows now
I'd suggest wizard towers first, mortars second, and bows 3rd. Get that splash damage done. It's what I did. Search me out. Clan is Blaze 505, look for Patrick. Splash is stronger on lvl 7.Quote:

if you maxed you'r mortar at th8 then it most certainly should be last on that list. i cant think of a single reason why it wouldnt be. it's not like 220 raged barbs is a common strat and thats the only reason you would put mortars first.
as for wizard or xbow. you can argue either way but mortars most certainly last.

Yet if I can do it again, I'll go with wizard towers first, followed with x-bows then mortars.

Not th9 yet, but my plans are WT, xbow, then mortars. Here's why:
WT7 can one shot level 6 archers
xbow- all around good defense IMO
mortars- not to phenomenal at 7 when they can already one shot archers
wiz tower lv 7 first for crystal, x bow lv 2 first for gold
mortar lv 7 very very last, 6 is enough. Mortar isn't a key defense for TH 9 or TH 10. I regret for early upgrading 2 mortars to lv 7
Max splash damage first.
