Using Gems to speed up upgrades.

I was wondering if supercell had considered a gem partial upgrade. For example - if an upgrade takes 10 days or 1000 gems to rush through - could this be done in parts - ie - 100 gems would reduce upgrade time by 1 day, 500 gems by 5 days etc

Everyone wins with this as I spend the gems I want to commit to upgrade - and get my troop / defence/ building quicker than normal. And supercell may sell more gems on the back of this...

Apologies if this has already been suggested - I couldn't see anything about it...

this kind of already exists, if you just wait 4 days on a 5 day build, then gem the rest. But I assume you are asking for it on the front end instead of the back end.
