I'm curious about the next special event coming up because I have not had a truck jewelry order for ages. Order after order appears on my board, but only a few metal bars have been requested! I'm wondering if there is a method behind this, such as getting us to stockpile our jewelry because the next event will have something to do with double vouchers for jewelry truck orders? Is anyone else experiencing this or am I the only one not getting any blue order slips?
maybe just try to delete the truck orders that you can't send asap and i'm sure blue add will pop out.i have 2 blue requests but they will have to wait a bit haha,it wants the rimgs and i can't get platinum ores to make in to bars and make those rings :( if my crops don't pop some tnt or something i'll send the adds your way haha :)
I have the same thing. I have maybe one blue order on there right now and no new ones have popped up.
I'm still seeing plenty of blue orders... Same mix of bars and jewelry as normal over here.
im still seeing plenty, in fact i can't keep up with jewelry making that i just got tom to fetch me some at the same time bought more from a friend. i think everyone's game is different (to some extent it is) so you'll just have to trash most orders on the board then the jewelry ones will appear.
there, trashed everything and got a jewelry order, it often happens this way for me lol. and two more right after this!
I do that also, just trash any board orders that do not have the green tick, and even some that do..!!! (depending upon how my stock levels are, and what I actually want to sell) I regularly get three, four, or five truck orders on the trot for jewellery items or bullion bars, and use Tom all the time to keep stocked up...
I have also requested that SC should give out automatic gold vouchers for these particular truck orders only, for various reasons... Even just for the special event would do, as a lot of the people who like fishing are really struggling at the moment to get gold lures...

john! where have you been? havent seen you around much :D im frustrated that im not getting ANY gold vouchers at all. i've accumulated 150 green vouchers these few weeks and probably 10 purple and no gold. im so upset that im not even in the mood to update my voucher watch table :(Quote:

Haven't been anywhere, but thanks... Lol. We have had a bit of a calamity with our koi pond last weekend, and have been flogging our puddings out for a week with that, while the nice weather has allowed... Have still been posting every day, here and there... Mainly on the fishing threads to keep them up to date, and they keep me quite busy as you know. There is a lot of folk frustrated about the voucher allocation, particularly the noticeable shortage of gold ones, and it's really affecting the people who like to fish especially... Sorry to hear you are so upset atm, but if it's any consolation you're not on your own in that respect - frustrated, angry, despondent, discouraged, disillusioned, and even robbed are words which readily spring to mind...!!!Quote:

extra coin from visitors would be okay but not really exciting since they dont pay much anyway! basically they usually ask for the two items that you have most in your barn/silo, either that or items that you dont have any of. so for silo items i will sell them wheat and corn and for barn i keep mostly eggs to sell them so they dont bother me on other things and i dont have to say no all the time. anyway wheat, corn and eggs sell really slowly at the shop unless i price them very cheap so i dont mind selling to the visitors lolQuote:

I think the hard part for Supercell would be coming up with an event that appealed equally to all players. The truck event accomplished that pretty well, I think. The boat event -- not so much. I loved it, but I have more than a few friends who are at higher levels than me but haven't repaired their docks. Maybe instead of half-time production for just one item there could be a half-time combo, say carrots and brown sugar or something like that.
At any rate, I'm not complaining so far. I think it's really interesting to see how the community dynamics shift with each event. :)
