I have seen alot of threads saying war matchmaking is worse and matches have been bad. I do believe you when you say this, however i was wondering if anyone was getting good matchups? My clan's last few matchups have almost been perfect and they have been very good, close war. Wondering if anyone else is as lucky as us.

Our clan has been on a new streak since the update. Although never awful, matchmaking has definitely improved for us.
I have not had 1 single issue with matchmaking since the update! We did have 2 wars were we had a couple TH advantage on top end, but other then that pretty fair and fun wars, usually go right down to the last THs for win/loss
We are on a little win streak. All our matchups have been pretty even. They might be off a town hall here or there but usually one side has a little extra offense to balance it out.
We went from huge mismatches nearly every time to near perfect matches every time.
We've only had one two war cycle since the update. First war was normal matching for us. opponents defensively heavy, offensively weaker. Second war our bottom 6 were outmatched big time, but the top was as normal as before with their heavy defense weaker offense. We won both. I'm curious what our next war cycle will bring. We do two wars back to back then allow a little time for the longer hero upgrades, so people aren't using as many gems to wake her up.
At first it seemed war matchmaking was ruined, but after the war, i understood that it actually became better. But i still feel sorry for those clans which despite having highest base as th9 faces a th11 in war

yes, we've had even matchups, but we were getting mostly even matchups pre-update. We do TH9s and TH8s (about half of each) in 10v10 or 15v15 wars. We get almost the exact same breakout with our opponents.
in my main account I've warred with some of my friends' clans where we have a mix of TH11s, TH10s, TH9s, and TH8s. 15v15 or 20v20 wars. Most of them are horrible match ups, some in our favor, some not. Seems worse post-update but that's just a gut feeling.
Based on forum threads, it appears some tweaking still needs to be done.
My clan has been matched up extremely well since the update doing 15 v 15. We decided to up it and do a 20 v 20 search last night & threw in some mini's people have just started, just to see what happened. We have a range of town halls now from 4-9, and it still looks amazingly even, which surprised us all. It should prove to be a great war with a close finish!:thumbsup:
