Just attacked Matcha from Exploitation

I didn't have my Archer queen and barb king at the time. He didn't have any CC troops so I didn't use mine. I used my normal farming army + 4 lightning spells on his mortars, he also had both hero defending his village but he has a wizard tower and X-bow upgrading. Here are the results:

If he revenges me I'll post the results here, in his camp he had pekkas, dragons and wizards. If your part of the exploitation family please tell him to attack with a normal farming army to make things fair.

Congrats on losing 12,000 gold in this attack, you must be pro. Matcha is already winning and he hasn't attacked you yet.

If i fouynd any known person and they didnt have cc, fairness is gone when im attacking.

That's why I never used my CC troops. To make things fair again.

Nothing to be proud of. The only good satisfaction for you is the DE loot. But you still lost in gold and elixir. Beside that , I don't think you would come close to anything with his CC full and XBOW Wizz Tower defending

Since this isnt really a mano a mano, I think he can revenge however he likes

Mano y Manos are about fun and attacking well known persons not about amortisation or profit (of course it is but if u don't make profit, who cares? ).

I could of used my CC troops to counter his CC troops. Also I have both heroes which were sleeping. Both of them could've made up for his X-Bow and Wizard tower, Also his heroes were both defending. And I was actually aiming for his DE.

i dont see why people are being negative....

So what makes you think I'm making excuses, get your facts right, I'm not making excuses. My aim was his DE and I got it, from my point of view this was a successful attack, I got 2k DE.

Gold is mehhh and Elixir is completely useless. DE is the resource to have now. :P

Cant believe all the hate this guys getting from the poor loot he got from the raid, even though the de is impressive anyway. If i met a guy from a famous clan while searching I would drop my goal of farming and attack him straight away.

Mano y Mano's are normal abysmal failures.

Did I ever say that it was hard to believe? I wasn't doubting if your statements were true, I just found it funny how you were providing all these facts about why your raid didn't go so well. Then once people call you out on making negative profit, your goal was suddenly to farm DE, making it *seem* to an onlooker that you are saying that to make it look as if the raid wasn't an entire fail (which I agree, it wasn't entirely) but you are being so overly defensive about it and trying to make it appear as if it was a huge win, that you seem somewhat foolish and just making up excuses (in my opinion).

Actually my base is quite similar to his. Nobody has ever got more than 2 gold storages unless its something like a Dragon, pekka or wizard attack. from this I know my current army in that raid wasn't good enough to get all 4 storages. So what's the next best thing to do, isn't it to go for his DE which is all in 1 storage. That's what I did. Also he had 2k DE available for me, so give me a reason to why I shouldn't aim for his DE, which is also more important than gold.

Good job on the de haul! Noone really cares how much you loose in Mano y Mano they are for Fun. Mufasa's wasn't amazing but it was enjoyable! :)

1.) I never asked what your base was like
2.) I never asked how well your base performed
3.) I never said you shouldn't aim for his DE, not sure why you are trying to jusitfy your reasoning for something I never disagreed with, I simply said it was odd you only mentioned it was your goal after people said it was a fail

They are farmers, they farm both gold and DE. Why would you think DE is useless to them? Many Exploitation members go DE farming and also Exploited members and sometimes Exploiters members. You honestly don't know about them do you?

On topic:
That's a good raid! 2000 de is definitely not unsuccessful, and to people saying he made a loss who cares? When I was th7 I would be paying MUCH more and taking much longer getting the BK by lightning (and that was before more health for de storages). I would be willing to use a whole army of dragons and 4 lightning spells for that instead and still call it a great success.

Comparing their hero progression to most people in my clan atm (Unity Elite), they are turtles in DE farming, so I care less how good of a gold farmer they are.

Also, it's have not seen anybody who can farm both resources effectively. You kinda have to slightly give up one to farm the other resource better, and I don't care if you play 16 hours a day, because it's still hard to manage.

I'm afraid I already did that, anyone could see my points except you it seems. You ignored my reasons, and started to blabber about your base etc. I'm not sure if you were consciously or unconsciously ignoring my reasons, or if your self bias is so great that you truly couldn't see any other point of view other than yours. You said they don't care about de at all, I wasn't saying they are amazing de farmers who aim to get level 30 but I know that they are allowed to farm de and they do, and a few people in exploitation DO have decent hero levels. As I said though I don't think they are the most serious de farmers and of course I know unity cares about de much more, but this thread isn't about what clan is best as I've seen two based on that in the last two days.

Lets see by your logic getting 2k DE in a raid means my raid didn't go so well. I guess you don't know the true value of DE. Also you haven't proven anything. That person said my raid wasn't good and I said I was going for DE. So how does this mean I'm making excuses. It's a FACT that I was going for his DE, that's why I attacked from the top because his DE storage was there.

My original post was a friendly poke. He went on the offensive afterwards. I supported my reasoning. I see nothing wrong with that. I agree that the attack was decent could've been much better, and it could've been much worse, just felt that it wasn't necessary to say I didn't have this, I was at a disadvantage because of this, etc. etc.

I do value DE quite a lot, My heroes are decently leveled, and my DE troops are well upgraded. I have gotten the 1 Million DE achievement, so the point is, I do know the value of DE. It gets tiresome stressing the same exact point(s) over and over again, only for them to be ignored :(

Why would he even need excuses? It was a good raid against a tough base. I'm not really seeing why this is an issue.

If a DE storage has 40,000 or more DE and the same level TH's are attacking eachother then you will earn exactly 2000 DE due to the loot cap

Everyone hating shutup. Farmers go for 2 things: Gold and Dark Elixir. At his trophy count you can't expect both like you can at Crystal II and higher. You can get 200-300k gold and like 5 DE or you can get 60k gold and 1-2k DE. Both of these are good and serve a great purpose, so stop all of the hate, and just congratulate him. Good job OP, that is a very nice haul.

How do you know that? You don't even know how strong my base is. I'll tell you now that its much stronger than his. My walls are mostly level 9 and my defence buildings are almost 100% maxed for a TH9.

That wasa nice raid thanks for posting it. The head to head threads are usually pretty fun and that was a famous clan so i was hoping the responses would be better. It was pretty painful to read much of this thread, the community aspect seems to be slipping from the forums.

This is my DE's original location. Once my Air defence's are done I'll switch the CC with an Air defence near the DE storage. But like I said this is a new base I rearranged this morning, not sure how effective it is yet.
