Latest Update - Happy?

they say they take their feedback from a number of sources. Hopefully this poll is all the need from this forum. Need to make your voiced heard on their facebook page too.

How about saying why you think it is a bad update instead of just clicking on the poll. I can't find any battles worth fightin now. I'm not going to spend 10,000-20,000 in elixir to build an army just to win a battle to get 700 in elixir. I don't think the new algorithm for determining ow many supplies can be won, it isnt written very well and needs to be reevaluated.

Yeah - I've understood the reason for the other updates, and when people got up in arms about them I really didn't agree.

This update crosses a line, and I honestly feel as though I have wasted my time (and money) on this game that I previously thought was one of the best in the App Store.

I just finished updating my TH to level 8 yesterday, at level 43, and this is my current situation:

• All of my troops are only upgraded to level 4. This means that it will be VERY difficult to actually win a battle against another player who has had a TH8 for a while.
• I want to upgrade my troops to level 5, but this is now effectively impossible:
  
  • I need to somehow acquire 2.5MM resources for EACH troop upgrade.
  • The only way to do this is through taking resources from other players,
  • With level 4 troops, I don't have any really chance to win a battle against more developed defenses, which are the only players from whom I could actually acquire the necessary resources.
  • Essentially, this creates a Catch-22 situation: One needs level 5 troops in order to acquire enough resources to upgrade their troops to level 5.
  • Even when I begin to build up my resources, the players who already were able to get their lev. 5 troops will easily destroy me the second I log out because I am now essentially their easiest target where they will be able to get maximum resources.
  
  
• With a TH8, it costs $580 to go to the next match. I just cycled through 45 matches, and the average amount of gold that I could possibly win is around $1000.
  
  • How is it remotely possible to get enough gold/elixir to do anything, when 95% of the matches would be a LOSS of money even with a complete win.
  • At the very least, it is vital for there to be an option where you can filter out lower TH matches so you aren't wasting a ton of money just finding somebody who is eligible to be an equal fight.

I would really appreciate a response from Supercell as to how this situation is fair to mid-level players. I understand the need for updates to make the game balanced, but I strongly believe this ruins the game for a LARGE percentage of players, and I really don't see how it makes any sense.

I loved playing this game, and I really want to continue loving it, but with this update for players in my situation the game is rendered unplayable.
