Petition : Change Username with Gems

Background

Now, there just two chance to choose your name. First when your first time playing, and second time when you decided to change your name once. But how about if you still want to change it again? Moreover you already have a good village and you have spent years to build it. It is very unfortunate if you should start all over and build a new village just to get a better name.
Main idea

You can get another chance by this.

Gems: 1000

Cooldown: 6 months

There is quite a lot gems that you have to spend to get a name change. To have that amount, you can save gems or even pay for gems as the faster way.

There is a cooldown so gemmers can't change their name frequently. Also to avoid chaos and confusion.

Conclusion

This idea is meant for players, especially loyal players who have use the second time. Players can be more spirited because of their new name.

Due to account security reasons, the name change feature is strictly limited to one time only. If your "Change name" button is greyed out, it means the feature has already been used. No further username changes can be made.

If that doesn't convince you, Anoushka from SC has already stated "No plans for a second name change, sorry!"

I'm th9 level 101 and I created a new account due to my username... I changed my username and after a few months I wanted to change again. Supercell refused, so I just gave up my account because of a username. I made the mistake of having changed my name, so I have to start from scratch... I don't undersrand why this feature is not in the game. I played 1 year and now I restart from scratch just for a username. It's not normal.

Lots of games that allow and even on xbox live it is possible by paying with points. Clash of Kings etc. It's just a username...

If there is really no name change feature, i need to know why. Don't you think about players who wanted this idea?

I don't know why Supercell doesn't implemented it yet. A one time change is really sh*t, because nobody deserves eternal torture, just because he did a one time mistake and took the wrong name. It would be enough punishment to pay real money for a new name and wait 8 months, and people who don't like their but don't really need another change, doesn't have to change it, but people who really NEED another change would pay the money and wait up the long cooldown. It's not fair to not even give the players any chance to retrieval their small mistake (which has big consequences because of a terrible and torturing name with it you are stuck for ever). There is no other game, that allows only ONE change, I thought Supercell cares about their players' wellfare. Supercell must implement your idea!

If this is implemented, even more people are going to complain that their friend or some h@cker accessed their account AND now has spent their gems on a dumb name. This will never be a problem for me so I personally don't have an issue with it being implemented, but I would expect to see people like you come back to the forums with the problem I just described.

They could also make the name change available as an in-game-app-purchase. And if you mess up the name change, it is your fault, but you can spend money to change it again (after waiting up the cooldown), so you aren't stuck with your mistake forever.

But nobody would make a dump name if he pays money for the name change. And if someone does it, he can consider for hilmself, if it is worth the money and the cooldown waiting.

Not a good idea. SC gave us a chance to chge name is consider a BIG GIFT. It is your responsibility to think twice before creating or changing the name of your village.

This is a great idea! I wish SC would say why they can't implement another name change. :thumbsup:
