Profit/loss in loot

I hate it when ppl attack u and use so expensive stuff and not even make a profit at all.... Like some1 stealing 128k gold and 61k elixer using 3-5 dragons and 4 rage spells (and the whole rest of the team) it just makes me mad to have stuff stolen and just be put back in a spell factory and barracks. I hover at gold II.... So it can't be a pro trophy hunter raid

Make sure that you're perfect before complaining about others :)

My point here is a burglar would not use 55$ worth of stuff to steal 50$. Same concept for raids

oh yeah and I always make gold off my raids cuz i dont use spells

i know when i have maxed elixir which is most of the time i make expensive armies to donate but if no one is on I will use them to attack, it is extrememly overkill using dragons and pekkas but when your over flowing with elixir you just make more. its the same principle with the giant bombs I only make them if max gold and no free builders, I'd rather waste it on pointless things then have someone else steal it.

Just a thought

One possible answer may be that if your one of those trash DE lightening thieves your are being sent a message. It has nothing to do with the cost or of making a profit from sending that message.

Burglars steal to profit, bad comparison. Lots of people are trophy hunters and some just like blowing off steam every now and then by doing a big raid that wont profit. Also, sometimes people mess up and dont get the loot they thought they would, all are perfectly normal.

I used to do this when my builders were busy and storages full. I would just go all out on a random guy without having an actual profit in resources. Sometimes i failed hard too stealing only like 20k in resources, then again it didn't matter because my storages were full in the first place. Good ol times

I facepalmed when some guy used 3 lightning spells on my gold storages for 30k gold
