I think that sc might have their own motive for 48 hour war. Regardless, it seems to me that pushing for "early out" when all attacks are used is likely to be more productive than radical structural changes.
Even that is prone to griefing though, sadly..

A short prep day might be fine. We'd have to adjust when we start our war searches again, but we'd get through it.
I like the idea of each clan having a "ready" button that a Co could press, but it can't notify the other clan that you are ready if they are not. Would not want the other clan switching bases or some ♥♥♥♥ or changing war cc troops if they all of a sudden knew you were done looking at the prep day map. I feel this would get abused somehow though by carrot eating folks, so in general I'm going to say don't do it. Also, this would allow some people to war more often than other people, so to me there needs to be cutoff of some kind. If both clan leaders hit ready, then war can start at the 14 or 18 hour mark maybe instead of 23. I wouldn't want it to be so short that one clan get 2 wars in by the time another only gets 1 just because some other clan punted entirely.
Let me throw this out there though. Suppose you are up against a fairly elite clan, maybe OneHive or WinterNvrCame or whatever. Based on their YouTube channel, you can probably make an educated guess on what tactics they will use, and as such may want different CC troops or even a different base layout. With a shorter prep day, this might not be possible.
So in short, I could get on board with a shorter prep day with a few mechanical tweaks. But not eliminating it entirely. I use prep day to watch some attacks on the enemy YouTube channel if they have one, so there is relevance to it.
If you can't manage it - you can skip one day always. And you probably haven't read everything that I wrote considering your arguments.Quote:

Anything to shorten the entire process of 47 hours (or more if you add searching time) would be most welcomed!
As somebody has pointed out, 47 plus hours for a gameplay is just absurd!
By all means reduce prep day and/or reduce war day please!!!

With what I suggested it is at least pretty expectable. Long war search is 1-2 hours so the shift won't be so sensible.
