Petition to remove preparation day COMPLETELY

It is time to say the truth - prep. day is nothing else but an annoying boring useless waiting time. I vote for removing it completely from the game. Seriously let's do it.

Some reasoning & explanations:
- War days are always fun and full of discussions in our clan chat / prep. day is always nothing to do / dead chat.
- Wars will become faster obviously... considering how long for new war clans it is to reach high clan perks and high win streaks (top ones are around 200 now which is more than a year of playing) - such change would give them more incentive to continue playing and if they lose a good winstreak - to start over and regain it faster.
- Game has too much waiting and apart from that.
- filling war clan castles is an annoying routine for coleaders and top players. Instead I suggest each player chooses his defending castle troops in the layout manager and when war starts they appear just out of nowhere.
- clan members need to get an option to view mates active war layouts at any time. So for instance coleaders will still be able to check next war participants layouts before starting next war.
- as an option 1 hour preparation time can be given after war is found - for little adjustments, assigning targets and gemming infernos ;)
- War loot also should be reduced per base because of doubled frequency of gaining it.

Pls answer if you agree disagree with it.

I like the idea and I'm in favor for warring more often (or having the ability to choose to war more often).

With respect to clan castle troops, I'm not sure how your proposal works with the game mechanics. perhaps it could be similar to current multiplayer mode. You fill the castle and it can be lost after an attack (you get a break period from being attacked so there is an opportunity to refill). Just thinking aloud, but regardless, I like the concept.

Hell yeah, I'd love to be able to war more often. 23hrs is just way too much prep time but I'm not sure doing away with it all together would work. I still think it should be the clans responsibility to fill the CCs with troops. So some time is needed for that. I don't like the idea of them appearing out of no where. Surprisingly I still find quite a number of CCs with no troops and if a clan isn't pay attention that's there fault. The other team should get that advantage.

Need a few hours to stock castles, imho.

Edit: I'd stand behind this if folk could pick their own cc troops (from available pool) then nominated leaders paid the cost. I agree that prep day is boring.. But I'd want some way to assure CCs get filled sensibly.

I was talking only about the defending castle troops. For attacks I suppose still have to give cause it is not different from just usual donations, which doesn't seem like a routine job.

Bad clans are just filling anything in the war ccs. I adjust all troop combinations at th9+ based on the troops of the enemy. For example our top th9s are nuked with GoWiPe most of the time to max wizards with a few gobs is best, lureable ccs get a hound, some a dragon with gobs or some loons if the attackers have max valks.

Well, I disagree, not entirely, but I don't think it would be a good idea to remove preparation day completely.

First of all, there is a huge diversity on social components in the countless clans out there; in other words, the point you made about the 'clans being socially dead in prep. day and active in war day' is more of a subjective point rather than an actual objective circumstance. It hugely depends on the clan you're in, there are some clans that stay inactive for a while, or some are active almost all the time. Also, there's a reason why there should be a prep. day, because it helps people get their minds around the bases they face, plenty of time to plan strategies, and advocate for out-of-the-box strategies, like changing your base design in the last minute or something like that. Also, I don't think that the clan castle troops should 'appear out of nowhere', mainly because two reasons; (1) In the case that what you're proposing becomes reality, both well-organized clans (Where specific members donate specific troops) and not-so-well-organized clans (where anyone donates whatever they have) become equal, and I believe that clans that have these well-organized donating system should have a bigger advantage over those clans that are messy, lazy, and sometimes don't even donate at all. (2) The logistics behind you're proposal would be complicated; what determines the level of the troops? Is it fair that a all-th8 war clan get's maxed troops, or a high-TH war clan get's not-maxed troops? And not to mention that we would have to change some of the Clan perks involving donations and refunds.

But my conclusion is this; I agree that prep.day is too long, but it shouldn't be removed completely. I would say they should shorten it, like a half or a quarter of what it is, or implement new war modes; like one-hour clan wars, or whatever.

First your solution for filling cc is flawed, what lvl troops go in what's the cost and how is that going to be deducted? Second not every clan does constant wars or is constantly active through most of the day. Could they reduce it to 12 hours sure I'll buy that, but you can't do away with it completely. Currently 5 hours left of prep time in my war and enemy cc have no troops in it while ours are full, if they don't fill them that's to our advantage in your idea there is no such advantage they will just......poof magically appear, more thought needs to go into this than what you posted.

I think a better solution is having a "READY" button that a Coleader can click, and when both sides are READY, war will start.
