Leader's Dilemma in War Participants

I would disagree in that I think it is fine for the leader to make the decision vs having SC to it for us. The complaints would roll in that SC picked unfairly if they were the ones to do it. I can see it now. SC picked a player who has a tendency to not do both attacks over someone that has always completed both of his attacks? The system is broken!!!

In our clan we know that the bottom players will be the ones omitted if necessary to get the right number as this is something each member can understand and has control over by going up or down in trophies.... pretty easy for us.

The rules of clan war before when it first started is much more better were in the game choose according to its ranking . For example if you have 33 members in your clan , coc will not include the 3 bottom accounts just to fit the 30 x 30 clan war. atleast the members knew that its because of their ranking why they couldnt join the war. For this our solution is we kick and invite members who doesnt want to be included in the war or doesnt attack last war. My point is that how about if all my 33 members as what i have menton are all active. How can you give justice for it? Its good that coc have updated the game that members can choose not to join but what about if all the remaining members are all active and wanted to join the war? Just what I have said saying I have 50 members , one of member opto not to join the war , it makes my aspiring participant to 49 members and right now there is no 45 x45. is it fair to my 9 members for me to take them out? last time its still ok that there is 45 x 45 atleast only few will be out from the war. but what about now? Is it still fine?

In fairness with supercell i also see their burden so i just suggesting that a leader could just submit the members who wanted to join the war when he start to search and the coc will be the one to choose who will be in war after the search and I believe this could also give us a fair match up and fairness on our members. For example i will give my lineup as follows :

TH9 = 10
TH8 = 10
TH7= 10
Th6 = 10
Th5 = 9

and COC could find a clan that could match my submitted player like as bellow :

TH9 = 8
TH8= 8
Th7 = 8
Th6 = 8
Th5=8

i hope supercell will be the one to choose to omit 2 from my th9 , 2 from my th8, 2 from my th7, 2 from my th6 and 1 from my th5 , so that it will be fair for my team mates

Yes, that's exactly what every good leader wants. For supercell to randomly pick who is in/out of war, and most likely leaving out the clans best attackers.

I'd be OK with adding a randomness factor. Might be kind of neat. If you don't want randomness, don't submit any more than the minimum number of accounts to make the match you want. That way the leader and co's can still control who gets in if they want.

But just for the record, the tiebreaker in our clan is trophies. We don't have the 30 or 40 problem, but if we had, I don't know, 17 accounts that wanted in, and nobody was on suspension or whatever for missing an attack, the lowest 2 trophy earners would be dropped.

Trophies were always a bad way to decide who warred and who didn't. Random picks even worse. As a leader you need to make those tough choices and be able to defend them. In our clan for example our second accounts are nearly always the first ones dropped if we need to fit the correct war size.

As for the 35/45 war thing. I agree it can be frustrating if thats your preferred war size....however asking them to put 45 person war in is very similar for me to ask SC to include 32 person wars....or 38 person wars et c.

So just put him in and tell him not to worry about the attack. Or attack lower. You want to cater to one guy or nine?;)
In all seriousness if we have an odd numbers issue I put in the lowest person or two that are opted out. They won't add to war weight and since I don't expect them to attack, missing a th5 attack won't ruin the war. Lolz. If we're one or two over, I leave out the highest th bad attacker we have. I'd be 😡😡😡 for a random pick of my guys.
